Achieve completes with multiple surveys

Hi, I'm new to qualtrics, and I need to create a project with 18 different surveys. In total I need 1 000 responses independent of which survey the responses come from. Is it possible to set my goal of completes by project? So my surveys are closed once 1 000 complete answers are registered. I asked the AI tool and it suggested using Embedded Data in combination with branch, but I’m not sure I follow the logic suggested. Is this possible to do? Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks a lot!

N/A checkbox with form or constant sum

Hi all, I’m designing a survey where I need to add N/A checkbox option everywhere. For the most part, they are numerical text entries or form or constant sum type questions. I’m not sure how to code script for each one such that if its selected, the textbox empties or becomes inactive. I tried with a matrix but couldn’t get the validation right.  Please help.Thanks!

Branching in Survey Flow

Hi All, I’m having trouble with branching in survey flow.Please see attached image"Branching from “Current Device” block to another block at the end of the branch isn't working.("If Do you want to use your Smartphone for both tasks (one device) or use two devices? (e.g., Smartph... Option A: Use Smartphone for both tasks Is Selected") is branched to:Show Block: A: Smartphone Only (but it doesn't) once this question is answered it just continues with the questions in the Current Device block. (it doesn’t seem to like to jump out of the branch to a new block in the flow for me).Any help would be really awesome, thanks all :DNote 1: Was it something I had to sort in builder (like display logic or skip logic)? I’ve added some requirements but only forced choice.Note 2: Also, yesterday i wasn’t selecting the right questions for it to go to the right block, but the questions numbers are set up properly today I believe.

Weighing Questions Before Gathering Responses

Hello,  Is there a way to apply weights to questions?My colleague and I have built a survey to measure performance as it relates to  certain KPIs for vendors. In our survey, each of the 5 KPIs we are measuring has its own block,  each containing 3-4 questions with multiple choice answers. I understand there is the ability to apply weight after the fact; however, I am looking for a way to apply weights to the questions themselves before responses are gathered. For example: the KPI with it’s related questions in block 1 would carry more importance (weight) than the questions in blocks 2-5 or vice-versa. The idea being that we could apply weight to the questions, but also not have answers in one of the other block be skewed in overall survey results. Any insight would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Making global scores out of coalesced fields?

Hello everyone,I’m building a survey for people in which I combined (coalesce) fields together, since we are asking similar questions at 2 moments on the survey. The way it’s built, respondents will answer either one or the other of the 2 questions assessing the same thing.I already coalesced questions together into new fields. However, in the dashboard, I would like to show global scores for all coalesced fields from a dimension (e.g. a score for Satisfaction with activities which would be the average of Coalesce1, Coalesce2, and Coalesce 3, which are all combinations of questions on satisfaction with activities).I thought combining the coalesced fields together with the formula function would work, but I don’t see my coalesced fields in the field selection. Have any of you ever done something similar? I would appreciate guidance on this. Thank you!

Creating expandable/collapsible buttons that are fully accessible to individuals who use the "tab" button on the keyboard to navigate the survey.

Hello,  I’ve created a survey that uses custom code from this forum (thank you!) to create buttons that expand/collapse to provide respondents with the option to view more information/definitions as needed. I’ve successfully applied the code to: (1) Survey introductory text that contains multiple buttons on the same page; (2) survey questions (e.g., multiple choice); and (3) survey response options that contain one button for a number of the response options in a multiple choice question.  Although these buttons work well on desktop (mouse) and mobile devices (tap/touchscreen), they do not work for individuals who use the “tab” button on their desktop keyboard to navigate each survey page. I’m wondering if there is code that I can add to my current code that will enable this level of accessibility? If not, are there other options for adding additional optional content if needed (e.g., further definition of a term) that can be widely accessible to diverse audiences with different access

Snowflake integration error

We keep running into this error message in our Extract Data from Snowflake workflow. “MOD_8 - ‘tsv’ is not a valid file type”We used TSV because we have commas in one of our fields and it was causing issues with the CSV. Has anyone had a successful Snowflake integration in general?

Workflows - do they stop if a condition set is not met, or move to the next condition set in the workflow?

If the condition set 1, “DivisionName=Alpha” is false will it them skip over the email, T-ID3, and look to see if it meets the next condition set, 2, and continue in that fashion OR once a condition set is not met will the workflow stop at that point?

Distribute email with a link to a customized letter

I want to distribute an email with an approval form link to users who have been accepted for an award and attach a customized acceptance letter as an attachment or a link to that email, so that it shows the award amount which users request through the form, and their names into the letter. How do I do this with a contact directory or a csv file with user contacts, or any other way?

DATE PICKER/ DATE FIELD

HELP I just do not see on this thread or understand or I am missing something here. I created survey field using date picker calendar as described in numerous places to get a date field entered into the survey.In the data window or creating a filter etc, it is recognized as a text field and not as a date. I need it to be a recognized date not a datetime just a simple mm/dd/yyyy date so that it can be used within qualtrics reports as filter. Running total at the end of side-by-side column

Javascript to get selected choices and creating an embedded data

Hi. Randomization and Display Logic Questions

I’m working on a survey where we would like to mix display logic and randomization. I understand that mixing display/skip logic and randomization within a block are not allowed using the default randomization. Ideally, what we’d like to do is randomly show one of 2 follow-up items, depending how someone answered a preceding rating item. The rating item has a 5 point Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree scale. If they answer Strongly Disagree or Disagree, we’d like to show a follow-up item to 50% of participants (we don’t want everyone answering it). So basically, it’s randomly showing a follow-up to a subset of people depending how they answer the rating item. It would be ideal if this could be done within the block. If the item order needs to be changed, we can likely put this at the end. Is this possible with JavaScript or anything else? I haven’t found a clear answer and we don’t have a ton of time to come up with a solution.

New embedded data field created in theme in survey doesn't show up

How can I adjust the size of the graphics in my maxdiff survey for Google Pixel phones?

I am currently working on a MaxDiff survey and the images are showing up just fine when I take the survey on my iPhone, but when my coworker takes the survey on his Google Pixel (using chrome browser) the images show up much smaller. Is there a way to use custom code to adjust the image size for the Google Pixel without messing up how it looks for other devices? (screenshots below) I have only used custom code one other time- so if you are able to help please explain in detail how I would implement the code as well. Thanks so much! Eliza
