I would definitely say my top tip for new users is to take advantage of the resources Qualtrics offers. There’s something for everyone!
My tip for new users is to find and read the document on Qualtrics Support site. It’s already tell you pretty much everything
My tip for anyone else in higher education is join the higher ed group it is a great group, but could always use more members and activity!
My advice would be not to limit your creativity and avoid settling for only the standard options you see in Qualtrics. Remember, nearly anything is achievable in Qualtrics with the right approach and a bit of outside-the-box thinking. The platform offers a robust framework that, when used creatively, can address a wide range of unique needs and use cases. Whether it’s custom scripting, advanced logic, or API integrations, pushing beyond conventional options often reveals powerful solutions. Embrace flexibility, and explore how you can tailor Qualtrics to fit your vision exactly.
My advice is to never hesitate in asking for help whenever you’re stuck. The Qualtrics community is incredibly supportive and goes to great lengths to ensure your queries are fully resolved.

@rochak_khandelwal It’s the same old Qualtrics Support you can find almost everything in it.
Kudos to @Michael_Cooksey for managing the community and supporting in case of any questions.
I think the community is a great place to expand your own knowledge beyond certifications etc. You often get to know new edge cases here that you might have to deal with yourself at some point. A daily look at the current topics in the community and the answers provided is always recommended! But of course it also makes sense to contribute your own knowledge. Don't be shy!
I've had a long vacation break and need to check in again soon!
I am thankful for Community Connect and recommend that everybody try it, especially if they want to share ideas or best practices. You can pick your time zone or choose between EN or SP language, how cool is that!
I am thankfull for everybody that reactes on topics and help others
The XM Community is very helpful and active. My advice would be, when you ask for help, to be as detailed as you can in your explanations.
For exemple, if you’re asking for help with custom javascript, specify if you are using a theme, other custom css, simple or classic layout, working in a web intercept, in the offline app, etc.
The more detailed you are in your requests, the easier it is for people to help you!
For new Qualtrics XM Community users: start by exploring tutorials and using the search function to find answers. Ask clear questions, engage actively, and share your own insights. Check out the Product Ideas section to suggest improvements, connect with experienced users, and stay updated on best practices. Thankyou so much guys!
I’m thankful for Basecamp!
For new users, just play around with the basics. Make sure you are spending time and exploring what the platform can do for you when setting up your first survey. You might not use any or all the bells and whistles, but when it comes time, you’ll already have seen them and won’t be scared to add something new. Use Basecamp, ask questions here in the Community, and always think of new things to check out.
I’ve been using Qualtrics for 4-5 years and never used Stats IQ or Javascript! Those will be a couple of goals of mine for 2025!
Kudos to @Michael_Cooksey for managing the community and supporting in case of any questions.
Thank you, @chackbusch! You are very kind

@tstamper Basecamp is indeed a fantastic resource! Thanks for letting folks know in this thread!
I’m thankful for @SandraH. We’ve learned so much about Customer Experience and Qualtrics while managing this platform for our organization.
Hot Tip - Qualtrics is so much more than a survey platform. Don’t let anyone limit it to that.

@KelliPolk we wholeheartedly agree that Qualtrics is so much more! And we are thankful that both you and @SandraH are a part of our XM Community!
For new Qualtrics customers, I would recommend starting by familiarizing yourself with the platform's features through training resources provided by Qualtrics - Basecamp is your best friend!
Also, don't hesitate to reach out to the Qualtrics support team for any questions or assistance you may need.
Lastly, actively engage with the Qualtrics community and forums to learn from others' experiences and best practices in utilizing the platform effectively.
My tip for newcomers is to use XM Basecamp.
I highly recommend XM basecamp.
It's full of really good content.
And there is also a certificate system that can check achievement step by step.
I did not major in sociology and was not familiar with listening to these experiences, but I learned from a young age through baseline and am active in-house as a practitioner and a leader.
A very big Thank You to the staffs maintaining XM Community, the Support staffs and all the members who are very helpful to answer enquiries posted by other users.
I am very glad that the XM Community issue have been resolved after 3 weeks of blocked access.
It was a very difficult time when the access to XM Community was blocked and trying to find answers related to custom codes since I do not have much knowledge with coding.
I would like to tag @everyone present in this awesome community for your crucial support 24/7. Each and every individual here is so talented; God bless you all!
