Analyze related surveys with Stats iQ

Hi,I have two longitudinal surveys.I have done the setup of the two surveys like described on https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/common-use-cases-rc/pulling-data-into-a-second-survey-longitudinal-surveys/So I have two datasets, both containing the field “Login ID” by which the two surveys can be matched.Is it possible, and if so how, to run Stats iQ on both surveys, using that Login ID to relate the answers to eachother.So for example, in Survey 1, I have the field Login ID and the question “how satisfied are you with A”.And in Survey 2, I have the field Login ID and the question “how satisfied are you with B”.I want to know if there is a correlation between A and B. I used a mock dataset, where I purposely had the answers on A and B that belong to the same Login ID be similar, so I know that there should be a correlation shown on this mock dataset. I added 51 answers on both surveys. I have tried adding the two surveys into a Dashboard,Both with the Data Mapper and the

Adaptive Conjoint survey setup

Hi everyone,I am planning to run an Adaptive Conjoint study in Qualtrics (maybe also ACBC if possible).According to the Qualtrics documentation, it should be possible to run Adaptive Conjoints in Qualtrics - however when looking through the Conjoint survey module (choice-based), I can’t seem to find any option to adjust the shown attributes/levels according to respondent’s preferences, i.e. making it Adaptive.Does anyone have any experience with this or know how to account for the adaptive bits? Is there maybe another Conjoint module I am not aware of?Thank you for your help!Eva

Calculating age from DOB (DD/MM/YYYY) using embedded data (NOT JavaScript)

Does anyone know how to calculate age from DOB (DD/MM/YYYY) using embedded data in the Survey flow section and NOT using JavaScript.I’ve looked through previous threads but they all seem to use JavaScript and a different date format. At the moment, I’m playing with the below but I’m not sure it’s correct:Round((${date://CurrentDate/d%2Fm%2FY}-${q://QID”insert DOB question ref”/ChoiceTextEntryValue})/365,2)

Rotation max number of times - pulling from 2 questions

I have three questionsAwareness - with a multi select brand list Usage - with a multi select brand list. Select up to max 2.  Performance of each brandI would like to ask performance (part 3) a maximum of 3x per respondent based on their answers to part 2 and 1.  I would like to prioritise the performance question to those who are using that brand (part 2), but also pull in answers from part 1 if they say are using less than three brands (they are only actually allowed to select up to 2. Is there a way to maximise the number of rotations between 2 questions?  Or another clever way to do this?

Text entry automatically copies the previous entry

I have a survey with 3 questions on a page - Q1 is a slideshow of 5 images (scrolling coded with js and html), Q2 and Q3 are simple text entry (numerical) questions (eg. how much would you be willing to pay for the product shown in the images). When I type in an answer to Q2, the text entry field of Q3 automatically starts populating with what I am typing in Q2. Q2 and Q3 do not have any js  - they are default qualtrics questions. If I remove the slideshow (Q1), things look normal. I am able to enter answers to Q2 and Q3 separately. Would anyone know how I can fix this? Initializing with initializeProjectWithExtRefId and evaluateProject not working in ReactNative

Salesforce App Qualtrics integration issue

Hi everyone,I am facing an issue with the Salesforce Qualtrics integration.Use case:Customer data will be sent to Qualtrics from Salesforce through Salesforce Outbound workflow.Once the response is recorded, the data will be sent back to Salesforce - Response mapping workflow.We would also want to visualize the Qualtrics dashboard in Salesforce- using Salesforce App feature. Issue:As I installed the App in Salesforce to connect Qualtrics, the existing workflow for Outbound message suddenly crashed and now it says that it is unable to connect to the account.We tried troubleshooting the issue, reverting the permissions back to the original ones, still the issue persist. Has anyone come across this issue while enabling the Salesforce App.

Data Recorded Incorrectly

I’ve created a survey and, for some reason, some of the questions will incorrectly record the response options chosen. For example, I will select “yes” but the data file will have the response recorded as “not sure” which is the third and final response option. We had previously determined that in-page logic was causing a similar issue (Recording the last response option for any question that had logic on it), but we can’t figure out what is causing the data to be misrecorded. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

How to disable the "Next" Bottom

Hello, I am setting up Qualtrics as a way to share some contact details with my listserv. I want all of the information that they will need in one site rather than an email chain. I just want to set up a project that everyone has the url for. My problem is that if I set it up as a survey and set up a Graphic / Text question, the “Next” bottom inevitably sends them to the end of the survey. Is there anyway I could disable the “Next” bottom so that they are effectively stuck with the Graphic / Text question? Best,

How can I give the option of 'NA' for a whole matrix?

Hi XM community,I am creating a survey for a research project and would like help on formatting conditional questions. Most of the survey will be matrices with rows = symptoms and columns = rating scales (see example below). However, some matrices will not be applicable to certain participants if they have not experienced a certain kind of symptom (e.g. the example matrix would not be applicable to someone who had not experienced neurological / mental health symptoms). I would like the participant to be able to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to whether each matrix was applicable to them (i.e. whether they had experienced any of the listed symptoms). This would save them from selecting ‘NA’ for each row on often long matrices.  I have tried adding a question before the matrix which asks ‘Have you ever experienced *list of symptoms in the matrix*’ and then using display logic to only give the matrix question to those who answer yes. However, this feels slightly clunky as we have to list the symptoms

How to insert multiple graphics at once as choice answers?

I'm currently making a survey that requires the respondents to answer multiple choice questions by choosing images. The survey has only 4 questions, and each has about 50 possible images as answers. Two of these images are randomly chosen and presented for the respondent to choose one. That was pretty easy to do, but I have a problem now: is there any way to insert the graphics as choices in a batch? I have 200 images in my library that need to go each into one choice, and I could not find a way to that all at once. I have to insert the graphics one by one, and not only is this time consuming, it is also prone to errors. Is there any way to do it automatically, even if "programatically"?Thanks in advance!

 ${l://SurveyLink} and ${l://SurveyURL} pipes don't work

I’m trying to create a survey that will stand in place of a two-person approval process. When one person finishes one block of the survey, it triggers an email to the next person who has to complete a second block (embedded data and a branch in the survey flow). That email will include a link back to the survey. I’m sure I’ll run into plenty of problems with this, if it’s even possible, but the big problem for now is that the fields  ${l://SurveyLink?d=Take%20the%20survey}, and  ${l://SurveyURL}both pipe nothing. They are blank. The field ${l://SurveySessionID} returns a value, but the above two don’t. This happens whether I publish the survey or run it in preview. What might I be doing wrong?

Custom Date Format

Hi all, I am trying to use default choices to have three separate form fields auto-populate the current day, month, and year. See below: However, I need to create custom date fields because none of the default current Date/Time piped text options separate the day, month, and year. I am guessing there is a way to use embedded data to create custom date fields, but I cannot figure out what the syntax would be. Randomized groups w embedded data - 1 out of 4 times Block is not displayed

Hello everyone,I am writing my master thesis and the survey is the basis for all the test. I hope you can help me. ExplanationI have created a survey with 5 randomized groups:Germany_NC Germany_EA Spain_ NC Spain_ EA CGThe logic goes like this:If the participant is German and it gets randomly the “Germany_ NC” group, then the participant gets assigned the Question Block “Information provision_Nature Connection_Germany”.The same goes for the others:German Participant + “Germany_EA” group = “Information provision _Eco-Anxiety_Germany” Block. Spanish Participant + “Spain_ NC” group = “Information provision_Nature Connection_Spain” Block. Spanish Participant + “Spain_ EA” group = “Information provision _Eco-Anxiety_Spain” Block. “CG” group = “Information Provision_Control Group” Block. (In this one it does not matter which nationality the participant is, since the content of the block is the same for both nationalities.)I have made trials to check if it works. Randomization

Hello, I am doing an experiment in Qualtrics and my independent variable is physical vs. digital product and my dependent variable is willingness to pay for the product. I also have a mediator, moderator and a covariate. With Qualtrics, I want to randomly show to respondents either the physical product or the digital product and the rest of the questions are the same for both of the 2 conditions. I want the respondents to be evenly distributed between the 2 conditions (physical vs. digital).I read that I can use the Randomizer to do this but when I only use the Randomizer option and I download the data, I do not see to which condition which respondent was assigned to. (Please see picture 1).After that, I did a new experiment but this time, I used the Randomizer, 2 Embedded data sections for the 2 conditions (physical vs. digital product), and 2 branches for what the people with physical product will see and what the people with digital product will see. Statement Groups Not Available (?) in a Side-by-Side Matrix

There doesn't appear to be an option to assign statements in a side-by-side matrix to groups (as there is for a standard matrix question). As a work around, I used the rich text editor to add the group label directly into the first statement in the group. The problem is that Qualtrics vertically aligns the rows to the middle so now the response boxes appear higher than I would like them for that top row. Ideas for JS that would push that down? Or other known fixes? Thank you!
