Hello!I have followed the steps on how to ‘insert a downloadable file’ into my survey, however i keep getting an error message when I try to upload a file saying ‘unable to look up the database’.Not sure if this may be my settings on my laptop to access my files but i can access my files/folders on other websites so it seems like its just qualtrics that cant access my files? Any advice on how to fix this is welcome!Thanks : )
HiI'm new to using Qualtrics and I'm in the process of familiarizing myself with its unique study setup compared to other survey platforms I've used before. I have a survey flow in mind, which I've depicted as the "Ideal Flow." However, I've realized that to achieve a similar effect in Qualtrics, I need to set up something akin to a "Qualtrics flow." I'm finding that duplicating the same block multiple times in the flow is challenging to manage. This is because the end block may need to change to another block as we progress, based on feedback from respondents. The challenge I'm facing is that there are multiple exit points in our survey currently. Consequently, it's risky to modify the skip logic throughout the survey each time. Avoiding the need to duplicate the END BLOCK would simplify maintenance significantly, if you catch my drift. I'm uncertain if I'm approaching this correctly, so I'm seeking clarification.Thank youBY
We have a matrix table with a lot of labels on the top axis. Wondering if anyone out there knows the html to change the labels to vertical like you can do in Excel and in the image below. It would be much easier on the user so they wouldn’t have to scroll to the right to see the other options. Thank you.

Subsequently, the system would conduct a search within my uploaded options and present a narrowed-down selection of possible matches. Hi All, I need to change the response of already asked question at the end of survey.I am trying to use function setChoiceValueByRecodeValue(5, 'true') but with “this” as a prefix it will refer to the question on which js is being applied. I want to set the value to the question which is was already answered by respondent at the start of the survey.Can some one help me in writing the correct syntax for my above requirement. I have a survey and I have a email workflow setup with a general message setup that has 5 piped text items into the message. The email goes to about 5 people depending on the type of response. For some reason, one of the piped text items isn’t populating into the email. All of the other ones are. The missing text is saving into the survey results. The workflow is to execute immediately. I’ve ran multiple tests and if I change the “To” and “From” the email populates correctly. Would changing the workflow to execute on a hour delay possibly fix anything? I’m at a complete loss.
Hello! Our team is about to launch a new survey in Mexico, and customers will use the QR Code to access. Since we are a global team, all of our surveys are created in English, and we include the translations depending the country that the survey is going to be lauched. In this case for Mexico, we dont have any embedded data in the survey, and all the respondents should see the survey in Spanish. Do you know how can we display this survey to customers only in Spanish, and not English? Thank you so much!!
Hi,We would like to have a pilot transactional survey based on Salesforce event. Our current ISO language field is in a different format than what Qualtrics accepts. Can we use a SF country field to set up a language somewhere in Qualtrics Workflow, e.g. javaScript or something to do, for example, if country is France-send the email in French etc. We will do a Salesforce development on the language codes after the pilot, so we need to have an interim solution meanwhile. Hi EveryoneI have a simple site intercept running with just 1 question.Rather than it closing on an EOS message I would rather the window just closed after the respondent pressed submit (next button).The window would then just fall back into the website rather than the respondent having to manually close after the EOS message.Can anyone help?Thanks :)
Hello!I have been assisting with recruitment for other company’s surveys and I am struggling to figure out what the redirects to send to the company. These respondents are already a part of our contact list, so I would certain responses from the other company’s survey to be captured in Qualtrics on their redirect including demographic info and survey disposition. So far, my thoughts are to use something like the following: https://survey.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_123AbcdEfG?Age=23&Race=Hispanic&Disposition=Complete where the Age, Race, Disposition parameters would be piped in by the other company.My question is, if I want to also have this embedded data captured with the original contact list embedded data for the respondents in my contact list, how would I go about using the redirect link so Qualtrics would know who that information is tied to in my contact list? I assume I would have to send an anonymous link with parameters to the other company, but I would like to know who
I'm building a survey that includes hybrid fraud detection/attention check questions towards the end. These will basically be restating our three eligibility questions asked at the beginning of the survey, but with slightly different wording. If the respondent is eligible, they will be automatically redirected to an online grocery store to complete a shopping task. Since we won't be analyzing the Qualtrics data before they complete the shopping task, we need to be able to automatically catch responses to the fraud detection/attention check questions that don't match the responses to the original eligibility questions.For example, the original eligibility question asks "In what state do you currently live?" and there is a drop down with US states. The fraud detection/attention check question asks "Where do you currently live?" with a drop down listing the US states. In order for the respondent to move forward, they would need to have the same answer to both questions.Is there a way to f

Hi all,I'm trying to insert a consent form (PDF) into a survey and I was wondering if there was any way that I could make it so that the survey as a whole shows up on one question block as a scrollable PDF instead of a link that leads to the form? Again and again, this makes it difficult to decide which functions may be used in custom code and which functionalities I have to find workarounds for.For example: A little while ago, I discovered that using 'async await' is not possible in Qualtrics -> it gave me an error message while trying to save it. I have built a simple experiment that requires participants to make a judgement on a photograph. They press on of three buttons (J, K or L) and the page moves on to the next photograph. I use the following code to advance the page with the keys and hide the submission button. However, Qualtrics is not recording the key pressed as a response/answer (J, K or L). The questions are multiple choice questions. Is there a simple mistake anybody else can see in this code or in the questions that i cannot see? Do i need to code values within the answers? I have about 2,000 total audio files that fall into 20 different categories. I would like to make 5 questions for each of these categories (100 total questions) - each question would randomly select one audio file from the corresponding category to embed. So far I've uploaded all the files into my library into a different folder for each category. I don't mind manually making a different question for each of the 20 categories, but I'd like to not have to manually do something for each of the 2,000 audio files. Right now the only thing I can think of is using javascript to randomly select one of the links in the library, and displaying that with html. However, the links to the files in the library don't seem to have any kind of pattern to their names, which would involve manually copying all 2,000. Is there an easier way to do this, like listing out all the links within a folder in the library?
With a Likert, Single answer matrix question, I have limited the user to only having a maximum of 15 choices in the first column. I'm currently trying to implement a complete response link for our third party sample provider. They've provided me with a link https://surveys.ipsosinteractive.com/surveys/?id=${e://Field/Resp_ID}&Cortex_ID=${e://Field/Cortex_ID}&pid=${e://Field/Proj_ID}&stat=C that they say they've given to all their client who have used qualtrics. I've included a customized End of Survey block with the link included, as seen here:https://puu.sh/FsNAs/aa845f13a0.png. I've tried using multiple different embedded data sets, such as https://puu.sh/FsNCf/5cea1cba39.png, https://puu.sh/FsLFV/92d7feefdf.png and https://puu.sh/FsNEA/3893bf1681.png, however, each time I get the marketing company to test it, they say that it only retrieves the Cortex_ID. Hello all - I have a survey that needs a report generated which can display percentages of a total - so, our respondents answer how many students are in a space, the number active, the number active on a playground feature, and the number sedentary. Hello, I am trying to create a survey in which I present an audio file for the participants to listen to. However, I would like to record how much of the total audio the participants actually choose to listen to (how much they choose to skip, etc.). While I am very new to Javascript, a friend helped me write code to record this information in an embedded data field called "totalTime." However, when I tried to enter this code onto the question, the embedded data (placed at the start of the survey) always reports a value of 0 despite the amount of audio is listened to. I am doing something wrong?
