"Unable to lookup the database" - Error for inserting a file into survey | XM Community

Hello!

I have followed the steps on how to ‘insert a downloadable file’ into my survey, however i keep getting an error message when I try to upload a file saying ‘unable to look up the database’.

Not sure if this may be my settings on my laptop to access my files but i can access my files/folders on other websites so it seems like its just qualtrics that cant access my files? 

Any advice on how to fix this is welcome!

Could you please share more details on how you’re uploading your file and also screenshots of the error.

To try to insert a file 


This doesn't seem to be a problem with your approach, but instead with the Survey Editor not being able to access the Library. Ideally it should resolve on its own, therfore I would recommend that you keep trying at regular intervals.

Also, do create a support ticket for this, as it's a Qualtrics backend issue.

Hi Cat. I resolved this by using my university account, didn’t realise I had to sign up using it. Hope that helps.


Hi, so I’m signed in with my university email account. Did it go away when you tried it later or did you have to change something?


I am signed in with my uni email. still same error. did any1 have a resolution?


Make sure you specifically type in the uni name. My uni had its own qualtrics page. 

 


Hi, I am having the sane issue. I am logged in through University, using my University email.
