Is there a way to have “optional” in a dithered box (or something similar) within the text box and then it would disappear as soon as the recipient starts typing? I know the other option would be to just state (optional) after the question - wanting to know if there’s a way to display it within the actual text box.
I am trying to import response that were done by a 3rd party into Qualtrics. I built the survey and have the responses in a csv file. I mapped all the responses and yet every time the same fields are failing QID2, QID3, QID4, QID5, and endDate. Questions 2-5 are all Yes, No, or N/A. I’ve made sure they are formatted on the survey the same as the csv file. I’ve tried mapping them 1->Yes, 2 → No, etc… as auto suggested when I click into mapping values, I also tried Yes → Yes, No → No, etc… still got the “Responses could not be imported,” and I even tried it by not selecting mapping values, still got the same error response. The endDate field is also failing but I noticed it needs to be yyyyMMdd hh:mm:ss, so I will adjust that when I attempt my next import.
I have 8 separate CSAT questions that I would like to display a breakdown down for each of the questions but I cannot figure out how to get them all into a single widget rather than 8 individual widgets. Below is an example but rather than displaying the historical years I would like each row to reflect a specific CSAT question (ie. Q1= how satisfied are you with the appearance of our chocolate, Q2=how satisfied are you with the variety of chocolate offered, etc...)
We have an NPS question followed by 1 of 2 free text questions - if they give us a promoter nps they see an open text called “What is the primary rating behind your rating,” if they rate as nps passives or detractors then the get the question “What can we do to improve?” I have them each represented in seperate widgets, as shown below, as you can only select 1 question text iq per widget. Well since the questions are displayed as promoters it’s clear that most of the comments are going to have a positive sentiment, and the opposite is true. I’m wanting to find a way to pull these 2 widgets together as I ran the same topics on each question, that way we could see a more wholistic view. I haven’t been able to find a way to do this within Qualtrics but I’m wondering if anyone has any out of the box solutions.
I have embedded data set up on my contacts as tickets need to go to multiple different rep managers. We have client rep managers and provider rep managers, I have set their names as the Q_TicketOwner accordingly (a contact can only ever be a client OR a provider)Here is where I am missing something... I’ve entered it on the ticket data as shown here in red, but what am I supposed to put for the Owner up at the top? Right now all the tickets are going to this person even though I’ve added Q_TicketOwner to the ticket data section.
I have a rank order/drag and drop question on my survey and I’m having a difficult time in coming up with how to display that info in a CX dashboard. I do have randomization set up on this so that they are not presented in the same order to each participant with the exception of “other” being always presented in the lowest position. *Bonus question - I believe that if people don’t rearrange them then they just appear as though they ranked in the order presented was what they selected. This is not a required question, not do I want to make it required, but is there a way to exclude the data of people who didn’t change the rank order.
I have a ticket owner who cannot see the customer profile section which needs to be viewed. I looked at the UserType setting and am not seeing anything that I can enable or disable XMD
I am mapping in historic surveys and need to map 2 questions into 1 field (in the past we asked for a CSAT on invoicing and a CSAT on billing, this year it’s combined into 1 CSAT asking about billing/invoicing). I have a widget on the dashboard where we see year over year trends so I am wanting to combine the historic separate questions into a single field.
(CX) I have a data end user who uses dashboards that wants to be able to export all, not just the widgets, data from the survey at their leisure. I do not want to give them access to the survey, but I want to allow them to export for themselves the completed responses (this is an ongoing survey). Is there a way to do this from a dashboard? I do not want to set up a workflow and have them sent out individually as they are completed, rather they want to capture all the completed surveys in a “lump sum” at given intervals of time. I know I can just go into the survey data & analysis section and export but I am hoping to find a way they can self serve independently.
(CX) I sent out the original distribution and had a large number of bounces, turns out my org hadn’t updated one of our customers email domains in our system.I went into the XM directory and edited the contacts and placed those edited contacts on a new list, I then resent the distribution to them.My question is this - will they now get the reminder emails, assuming they haven’t finished the survey, twice since they are technically on both of those distribution lists? If so is there a way that I can remove them from that original distribution to avoid them getting those reminders? Ideally I would like to do the reminders off the 2nd distribution so that I can bump the date back since their invite technically wasn’t received until a day later than all of the others on the original distribution.
I distributed a survey and had some emails come back as hard bounces as their email address was incorrect. I am wondering what the “best way” to go about getting this corrected and the distribution set up for them as I want to resend the survey invite asap.1-Do I update them on the contact list and then set up a new distribution for them?2-Is there a way I can keep them on the current distribution and just resend their initial invite so that their reminders will be in sync with all other invitees.
Hi - we just opened a 2nd individual brand for my company. I’ve exported and imported the surveys, but I’m not seeing a way to do the same for a dashboard - I know I would have to remap everything, but it would be nice to at least have the basic widgets and pages already set up so that I wasn’t having to build 100% from scratch.
My org has an automation set up so that when emails are received in inboxes a Jira task gets assigned from that email - here’s the interesting part… On the back end I am not piping in the response ID and on the email that Qualtrics sends out via workflow the response ID is not there BUT somehow when we are in the Jira task the response ID shows up right after “Forms: Yes.” I’ve tried troubleshooting this by going back into the workflow and deleting any blank spaces after the workflow piped text, and then I even deleted it and added it back in. I’m confused as to why it is not showing on the email we get in the inbox, but it is showing up in Jira as seen below (poor quality screen shot) *My org does not want to connect Qualtrics to Jira directly so this is my workaround
I have display logic on the entire matrix table based off embedded data.I need to take it a step further and have online tools have an additional piece of display logic based off a 2nd embedded data field. Is this possible to add logic to a single statement and not the entire table?
I added a block that only contains 1 question. I want this block/question to only appear 50% of the time. How do I go about this? Typically I would go into block behavior and select question randomization, but where there is only 1 question in the block I am at a loss as to how to go about it. I DO NOT want to add this to another block as I have my blocks on display logic based on embedded data and I want “all” (a random 50%) of my participants to see this, my participants only view blocks that are pertinent to them based off their embedded data values.
I have a CSAT question that I want to embed a field on based upon how the recipient scores the following CSAT style matrix table.Essentially what I am after is I want to rate/assign embedded data of “health score” as follows-”poor” if they selected ANY dissatisfied or very dissatisfied-”fair” if they selected ANY neutral, but did not mark dissatisfied or very dissatisfied-”good” if they DID NOT mark any neutral, dissatisfied, or very dissatisfiedI have set up the following branching survey flows to embed the data:However, I think that based on my current logic it could assign several health scores per respondent, I only want one based off their least satisfied response.
Is there a way to mix invites with personal links for both email and sms? We will be sending out personal links with embedded data. Ideally, we want to send the initial invite via email, the 1st reminder via sms, and a 2nd reminder via email. Is there an “easy way” to do this? The only way that I’m aware is basically having to to a regression of our respondents and then remove them from the sms list (or really only include those on that list who have not yet responded), then go through that process again for the 2nd email invite. I’m hoping there is an automated way to do this like how you can send an email and then automate the reminder emails to those who have not yet completed the survey.
Our org default for survey URLs is chg.qualtrics.com… however I would like to send a custom URL and have learned that anything prior to the “.qualtrics.com/...” can be edited and it will still take you to the same survey, vanity URL https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/sp-administration/brand-customization-services/vanity-urls/This works great for a single link, but I need personal links. Is there an “easy” way to do this without changing it for the entire org which is not an option for us. I know that when you’re composing an email you can insert piped text and make the survey link a custom survey link, but that is not doable with thousands of participants. My thought was to send the survey outside of Qualtrics, then all I would have to do is export the personal links, change the links in excel using using find & replace (or something similar) to swap out “chg” for “_” for the next links and then send them out. I have created a this CSAT measure group widget and want to keep it. I have been asked to give an “average” score for each of the shown categories. I know I can do recode values but am unsure of how to assign recode values to show an average score while also keeping the very satisfied-very dissatisfied widget.
I have a customer response who we noticed an embedded data was entered in incorrectly on their contact. I have gone in and adjusted it on the contact in the XM directory. How do I adjust it on the survey response?
We have an annual survey that we send out every year, the survey changes slightly year to year and what has historically been send is a new survey every year rather rather than using the same survey with the minor edits. In 2023 there was as admin error where contacts were sent incorrect personal links… The issue was identified and remedied. This issue was narrowed down to a specific subset of respondents that we were able to identify based off embedded data, it did not affect all participants, is there’s a way other than deleting the “admin error respondents” to exclude those responses from analysis/dashboard? My initial thought was to export, remove the known error respondents, delete those responses, then import only those correct ones back into the survey. My concern is this would, at least I would image as I’ve never done it before, update the recoded date to the date I did the import. *The data I would be adjusting was from 2023, and I would like to keep the record date as 2023 a
We are getting ready to deploy a survey to our customers. We have a website they log in in addition to an app. In the past we have delivered our surveys via email and sms. I’m wondering is there a way I can deploy via Mobile App SDK, then if they don’t complete within a time frame send them an email and/or an SMS? The catch is I have a ton of embedded data on each of the contacts and so they all need personal links, not an issue with email/sms, but am wondering how this would be done if we were to add in an the option to take the survey on our website/app.
Is there a way to randomize a question display within a block rather than having it in it’s own block? We also want to make it a required field for those who are presented the question.
Hi all, I’m new(ish) to my org. We have a previous employee who has left our org who was getting weekly summary emails. I’m wondering if there is a quick way to identify where the email may be coming from (what survey/workflow)? We have hundreds and hundreds of surveys so not having to look through every single one would be immensely helpful. Sadly the subject line is pretty generic with “Weekly Summary for (former employees name) from (date) to (date)” - which is a 7 day period.
We have an automation build in with WorkDay the runs daily so that when we have a new employee join they automatically have a Qualtrics user w/ SSO set up for them. Our User Type (UT) default does not have all of the needed permissions so we built out a new UT. As the automation runs we would like to not have to manually export the Users, change the UT on the csv and then re-upload the changes. Is there a way to change the default UT assigned to new users within Qualtrics?
