Hi JulieT, I came across your post courtesy of some recent work I've been doing with Authenticators whereby I was trying to restrict the character length of a given Authenticator field. Appreciate that this is an old post, but I wanted to flag that your requirements are actually possible to achieve by -:Navigate to the Look and Feel screenUnder the "General" tab, edit the Header and switch to the Source viewEnter the following script...Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){ jQuery('td.ControlContainer>input').eq(0).attr("maxlength",10);});In the example above, the "0" in .eq(0) relates to the first Authenticator field, so if you have 2 or more, you can explicitly reference them by updating to .eq(1) or .eq(2) etc. You can also substitute "10" for whatever length value is appropriate .attr("maxlength",10) section of the code.Cheers,Cameron

I can see that working when you want the respondent to select a date value from a question and then pre-fill that value into an Authenticator field. However what I suspect erinkru is seeking - much like myself - is to directly customise the Authenticator field so that it leverages Flatpickr for data entry. Basically, if the Authenticator screen is the first thing that a respondent sees, how could we directly modify the Authenticator field such that it leverages Flatpickr to manage data entry of a date value?Thanks in advance.Cheers,Cameron

Hi tmd1230,One option would be to add an Embedded Data field into your survey (e.g. topChoice) configured as a variable type of "Text Set". You can then set the value via Survey Flow (or JavaScript, depending on your needs) such that topChoice = the choice with the lowest numerical value (i.e. #1)You would then be able to report/dashboard on the Embedded Data field and display the count of #1 selections, e.g.Hope that helps.Cheers,Cameron
Chet Are you in a position to adjust your API name so that id doesn't leverage characters that are commonly used as delimiters? I know it's less than ideal making the change purely to suit Qualtrics, but you may find similar issues with other integrations down the track.

Hi Chet, might be a silly question, but does the value in your multiple choice - multiple answer question (i.e. A, B, or C) match exactly with the Salesforce multi-select picklist value API name?For example, the Salesforce multi-select picklist value might be A, B or C but the underlying value API name might be a_b_or_c. Hi megan_bouret, not sure whether you got a solution for this in the end, but I agree with Chet's approach. I have used Salesforce Flows to facilitate a very similar use case and it works quite well.
Hi jackorg,Wondering if you ever got a solution to this?I know this response is likely coming way too late for your needs, but depending on what you're trying to do with the Account ID, have you considered doing the heavy lifting directly within Salesforce? If you're storing the survey response data in a record within Salesforce, you could push the school name into that record via Response Mapping and then use a Salesforce Flow to identify the relevant Account ID and make the connection within Salesforce.As an example, we use a similar mechanism (i.e. Flow) to make the connection between a survey response (stored as a record in Salesforce) with a Case record that we are creating via Response Mapping.Cheers,Cameron

On the face of it, I'd be asking...Have you seen evidence of the issues that have been fed back to you (e.g. have respondents provided you with any screenshots/captures demonstrating the behaviour they're describing)?Have you been able to replicate the issue?Have you tried to re-upload the offending videos and validate that they are indeed working (from your perspective) within the survey?Have you ensured that the relevant permissions have been conifigured on the Dropbox end to ensure that your videos are visible/accessible to any survey respondents?Cheers,Cameron
Hi ColbyA, I haven't got personal experience with migrating from a standard Sales Cloud instance to Financial Services Cloud (or similar), however what I can confirm is that the Qualtrics/Salesforce integration leverages the Salesforce API, which is used in common across the various Salesforce clouds. That being said, as you can see here, it is currently leveraging an older version of the API so that may cause you to run into some compatibility issues.Hope that helps.Cheers,Cameron

My favourite teacher was my Year 7 Homeroom teacher, who I was fortunate enough to have as my English and Ancient History teacher in subsequent years. Mrs Appleby was simply the right mix of friend and mentor, as well as knowing when she had to push you harder in order for you to achieve results. Her passion for both English and Ancient History - especially Egyptian and Greek history - was infectious and she genuinely cared for every student who passed through her classroom.I'd also have to acknowledge Mrs Jones, my final year maths teacher. I was having such a difficult time with the subject courtesy of another teacher having destroyed my confidence 2 years earlier. Instead of assuming my struggles were the result of a lack of ability or application to the classwork, Mrs Jones recognised my confidence was at rock bottom and took me under her wing, helping to elevate me from a fail average to a pass average by my final exams. Her guidance and support was such a positive influence on me

This will return the 2-digit month value based on today's date.Use a multiple choice question to list out all of the possible sessionsFor each session (i.e. choice option) within the Multiple Choice question, configure display logic to display/hide based on the value of your embedded data field. Hi Vinod_M,Assuming that email address can be used to uniquely identify a contact in Salesforce, then Salesforce Flow is your friend.You can pass the contact email into a field on your Case record and then use Flow to make the connection (e.g. Use Flow to locate the Contact with the matching email address captured on the Case record, grab the Contact record’s id and then use that to make the connection).Cheers,Cameron
