Pictures for each attribute in discrete choice experiment

Hi everybody,I would like to include pictures for each attribute shown in my DCE. Is there anyway that I can add pictures to attributes?What I did is that I first used Conjoint survey (as choice tasks created) and then include such survey to the main survey. However, I cant find a function in Conjoint survey that I can include pictures to attribute. It only allows me to include pictures in attribute LEVEL. Please see below image attached.Many thanks!

Data Comparisons?

I have 3 different matrix tables that are identical in scoring and parameters, but are each evaluating a different product. I would like to create a results widget that compares the results of the 3 matrix tables in one chart. How do I compare the data from multiple questions into one chart, as a side-by-side comparison separating by each product?For example, users are evaluating 3 different LMS platforms and I would like to show the side-by-side comparison of how each LMS is rated on the matrix likert scale for each parameter (design, usability, course creation, etc).

Different JS Code for Moblie vs Desktop in Drag and Drop?

Hello,I have a pick, group, and rank question where there are a lot of choices, so I added some custom code to increase the length of the box that you drag the options into. On mobile you couldn’t even see the box if you scrolled down to the end of the list. It would be better if I could customize the length of the box by whether a respondent was on a desktop vs. a mobile device. Table widget conditional formatting rules

Hi! In a dashboard I have a normal table shoring the results (10-point scale) for certain metrics coming from 3 survey (2021, 2022, 2023) + a benchmark. Right now, I applied conditional formatting to colour the lowest scores red, the average scores yellow, the highest green.I would do something differen: the scores from previous years and the benchmark should color either green or red depending on how much they differ from those of the last survey (2023). So if there is more than a -0,5 point difference the score should be red, if more than +0,5 difference green. Is this possible? Or should I organize things differently?

adding a question counter (index) within a specific block

Hey,I've tried different solutions offered here about the topic, none worked so far. For my survey, I need to put some sort of index that shows the participants how many questions in the block have been presented so far out of the total (for example: question 10/45). It needs to be visible throughout answering the block. The question block itself is randomized, and with a graphics question in each page.I have tried using embedded data (perheps wrong? Since it did not work in preview).also I thought maybe it's possible to alter the progress bar in 'looks and feel'. If it can be added to some of the blocks but not to the whole survey, and maybe if it's possible to change the text? Any idea would be much appreciated!I have zero to very little knowledge in code, but I'm willing to learn if the solution requires it.Thanks,Mia

Getting an error in results with query string

We are deploying several satisfaction surveys from our CRM. We want to be able to connect the survey response back to the respondent in our CRM. Since the email with the survey link is automatically deployed from our CRM we are using an anonymous link and adding a query string. We are using their customer ID#, and the query string is set up as, “?CustomerID=123456”. All of our testing shows that the URL is formatted correctly. We can see the full URL with the Customer ID#. However, in about ¾ of responses, the embedded data for the “CustomerID” shows up like the screenshot below: The first column should be the customer ID, but as you can see from the full URL, it is gibberish. However, if I go to this candidate’s profile in our system (we have had to ask for the CustomerID # since the embedded data is not acting as it should), I can see the email we sent, click the URL, and see that it is working properly, with the candidate’s Customer ID#. In other words, on our end, it looks like the

Hi, can someone please help me? After a survey taker completes 1 survey, their response summary is displayed and the survey is submitted it, now how can I redirect them to restart another survey, if they have more entries to make? Please help! Thanks in advance!

SEE Score Custom Metric

Has anyone found a way to calculate the Success, Effort, Emotion question using custom metrics?I found the calculation to be off entirely when I had calculate them myself.For instance, in the dashboard I built, combining all my surveys that ask these questions, I can pull up numbers breaking them down individually, but I want to use a metric that will calculate it for me.

Auto-Select Matrix Table

Hi all,I have a matrix question with two columns: one is “Tracking” and the other “Reported to Leadership”. If a person selects “Reported to Leadership” I want “Tracking” to automatically be ticked off as well. Is this possible within jQuery? I am not familiar with jQuery at all.

Random ID

Hi there. I’m just setting up a survey where I need an X amount of respondents, and I want them to have an individual ID. I was wondering if the random ID feature on qualtrics repeats the number given to respondents. For example, if 100 people respond will they all get a different number from 1-100?Thanks!

Viewing Scoring from Survey on Dashboard (Weighted Mean)

We have a survey in our school district that we have used scoring on and are using the weighted mean that Qualtrics has calculated.  We can see it in the summary report which is great, we know we are getting the values we want.  We want that same value to show in a bar graph on a dashboard.  For example, we would like to choose 4 of our created categories and use them as different metrics together as a separate bar in a bar graph.  We have gotten super close to what we want to see, but the values coming in are not showing like we would hope (%, total count, etc.). How can we view the value that Qualtrics has created for the weighted mean on a dashboard (it isn’t showing as an Embedded data option). Thanks for any ideas!

Giving Text iQ another try, has it changed in the past year?

About a year ago, I wrote a long post about Text iQ, as I didn’t find Text iQ helpful (at all).I’m going to give it another try, but I’m wondering if it has improved much? any?I spent a fair amount of time giving a good faith effort to learn it and use it, but I always came to the same conclusion - - - the bubbles / sentiment / etc. isn’t really working for me. Even if it’s minimally helpful, I always told the stakeholder - “You still have to read all the comments carefully to best understand what the respondents are saying.”I’m at a 4 year college, typically we get no more than 2,000 comments. That’s really not all that many, but still it’s like a weeks worth of work to give a close reading of the comments and do some amount of categorization.An example of a text question we have is “What did you like least about your college experience?” Then they spill their guts, as it’s a loaded question. So both the computer and manual review is hard to try and categorize 500+ words. Another key

Sampling large numbers on Qualtrics

Hi All,Our team is pretty new to Qualtrics and we are looking to sample big numbers of specific ids (external data references) without having to make a list each time.When contacting support they said this was not possible but I wanted to check on here if anyone has any ideas?Thank you in advance!

Add/Subtract Days Based on User Submitted Date

Is there a way to add/subtracts day from a user submitted date in a survey without using javascript? The user submits the date in MM/DD/YYYY format. This can be passed into embedded data if needed. Example: -User submits the following date in a survey field04/02/2023-I want to add 2 days into a text/graphic field or embedded data to reflect:04/04/2023 From what I’ve been able to read online it appears this can only be done in relation to the current date but I’m hoping there is a solution for a user submitted date. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Drop down list with a blank space

I want to make a question with a drop down answer option with a blank space in front of it.The idea is that respondents have an open field in which they can enter a number. After the open field, there should be a drop down menu with the options "Years/months/weeks".In the photo I sketched it out a bit.The blue box should be an open field where respondents can enter a number. After that comes a drop down menu with “Years/months/weeks”. Help me please :)

Using Javascript to shade some boxes in a matrix table

I have a matrix table with 5 columns, A,B,C,D,E. I would like to shade boxes in some rows for each question, the boxes shaded are not consistent across the survey. For instance, this would be the pattern of shading:A,C,DB,C,Eetc etcIs this possible? Would someone be able to help me out with a hint on the code please?

Connecting Twilio Integration for SMS Messaging

Hello, I successfully had my brand administrator set up my Twilio account integration as documented here by Qualtrics. However, I notice none of my SMS distributions created in Qualtrics are going through and there is no evidence of them reaching the Twilio number at all when I look at my Twilio logs. Does anyone have experience resolving this seeming incompatibility issue? I have double and triple checked that the integration was set up properly with my brand. Thanks!

Setting a different number of responses in columns for multiple choice

Hello,I am trying to get three columns and then within each column I have a different number of responses I need to have.  So column 1 would have 10 options, column 2 would have 5, and column 3 would have 4.I have seen a couple other questions like this, but I could not follow them well enough to make them work.My knowledge of JavaScript is quite limited.Also, if matrix is better than multiple choice then I will use that.

hello,  I would like to have a multiple-choice option play a hidden audio file. Does anyone know how to do that? I know how to hide the audio but don’t know how to have the selection of the choice trigger the audio to play.  Thank you!

Side by side questions with one choice per row

I’m trying to create the table below where respondents can only select one option per row: So for instance, in  row (1), they can either pick Option A (green checkbox) or Option B (blue checkbox), but not both. They repeat this for subsequent rows. How do I get about doing this? I tried doing side-by-side but it doesn’t let me put in the text under the columns (e.g. $25 $0).
