How do I create an embedded data field?

There are many ways to do this, but most commonly, you will create an embedded data field in your survey flow or in a contact list. We will cover these options in a future 2-Minute Tip, but you can learn more now on this page. 

I tried to pipe an embedded data value into my survey question, but it’s not showing up. Why not?

The Embedded Data element in your survey flow needs to be placed above the element where you’re trying to use the embedded data value. We will cover this in a future 2-Minute Tip, but you can learn more now on this page.
