Hi Team,We wanted to check whether there is an option to edit or update a specific embedded data field within the Ticket Data section for existing tickets.During the initial field mapping, we missed mapping a particular embedded data field (e.g., ABC Field), due to which its value was not captured in the existing tickets. Although the corresponding value is available in the source data, the field currently appears empty in the Ticket Data section. We understand that the value can be manually updated in Data & Analysis, but we would like to know how we can update the same field in the Ticket Data section of existing tickets without recreating them.Could you please confirm whether this is possible through the Qualtrics UI or via any API/Web Service endpoint? Any guidance or relevant API documentation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support.

Hello,We are currently experiencing a synchronisation issue, our employees data from Successfactors are not being synchronised on Qualtrics Employee Directory. We have tried to do a manual synchronisation but the jobs are being failed. We would appreciate if someone an guide us.

Hello there,  I am a graduate student currently developing a survey to collect data for my doctoral thesis this fall. More specifically, I am conducting a repeated measures/within-subjects research design where participants will need to complete a survey at three different time points within a workday (i.e., 09:30, 12:30, and 15:30).  I have developed the four different surveys:SURVEY 1 is where participants consent to participate and select a weekday to receive the series of surveys SURVEY 2 has all of the study variables as well as some demographic, marker, and control variables that will be measured only once (time invariant)  SURVEY 3 & 4 only include the study variables of interestSo, my sample will be all of the United States so gathering their timezone information in SURVEY 1 is paramount. I have read some articles on how to capture time zone data using Javascript such as here where Javascript is used and here where JS is used to extract specific information about timezone.

Hi,Can you please create a new option under Account Settings | Time Zone for British Columbia (UTC-7)? We no longer change our clocks back and forth anymore and permanently remain on Pacific Daylight Time. Thanks!

Background:We heavily utilize the WDC 2.0 data connection in Tableau Desktop to pull in Qualtrics survey information. In October, Tableau released the 3.0 version of the WDC, which requires Qualtrics to build a .taco file to connect to it. The last WDC 2.0 compatible version was Tableau 2022.4.  We assumed we’d continue to use 2.0 until Qualtrics released a 3.0 version and told users not to upgrade their Tableau Desktop versions.Problem:In the past two weeks many users have reported their Qualtrics connectors have stopped working. The users haven’t upgraded their version of Tableau. Connections are just giving errors and no longer bringing in information. Is the Qualtrics connector breaking in Tableau Desktop for anyone else? How are you resolving it? From support:Tableau support states that it's the Qualtrics side that we need to talk to to get the 3.0 connector working - Qualtrics needs to build a .taco file connector. Qualtrics support says “The 2.0 connector remains fully supported

As a Qualtrics power user for over a decade, I want to clarify that the widespread community pushback regarding the mandatory transition to the new Results Dashboard is not a simple case of users being resistant to change. This is a fundamental usability issue that severely disrupts established institutional workflows. After investing countless hours troubleshooting the new interface, it is evident that the tool, in its current state, is a major regression from the Legacy Results-Reports.The core issues I have experienced, which echo sentiments across the community, include:Severe Customization Restrictions: The rigid, widget-based layout offers substantially less flexibility for customizing basic data visualizations compared to the legacy platform. Compounded Click Fatigue: Basic tasks that previously took one or two steps now require a tedious number of clicks through nested menus, making the interface inefficient for power users. Migration & Formatting Bugs: Early adoption has re

We noticed that the Email Messages section in Qualtrics has been redesigned, and we would like to share some feedback. At this time, we do not recommend switching to the new experience. Is there any way for us to continue using the current (classic) experience after September 30, 2026? Our main concerns with the new design are:  Reduced visual organization. The new interface no longer clearly indicates whether an email reminder is nested under the initial outreach or represents a separate email outreach. This makes it more difficult to understand the overall communication sequence. Limited visibility. The new interface displays detailed information for only one email at a time, whereas the current (classic) experience allows us to view all email outreaches together. The current (classic) layout makes it much easier to monitor outreach history, compare email performance, and identify overall communication trends at a glance.  We appreciate the effort to improve the platform and hope y

Hello! Are you able to embed a recorded one hour PowerPoint presentation or any type of recorded video into Qualtrics?

Hi Community Team,Is there a way to have a unique bookmark path for different users when testing via the same preview link?We currently have an in-progress survey where both our team and the client are testing simultaneously. Since the bookmark location appears to be shared, changes made by one tester are affecting the other tester's progress.I tried modifying the /jfe4/preview/previewId URL, but I wanted to check whether there is a more robust or recommended approach to isolate bookmarks across testers.Happy to hear any suggestions or best practices from your end. Thanks!

HelloI have my account set to EN (UK). I have created dashboard and the Rich text Editor labels are different for users on language EN (US) to those labels set up on my account. Has anyone come across this and has a solution EN (UK)EN (US)

Hi,I am new to using the new reports feature, but have disocvered a couple of serious limitations associated with basic graphing features. First, when creating a frequency chart, the only response option categories that appear on the X-axis are those that have been selected by respondents. For example, on a 1 to 5 Liker-type scale, if respondents select 3 through 5, then the options1-2 don’t even appear on the graph. How is ignoring half the scale, by default, effective communication? Allowing selection of axis points to display is helpful, but not allowing the user to choose the scale is not helpful.Second, the width of the bars is not adjustable, and the default width is too skinny to create a visually appealing graph. These are basic graphing features not present in the product you want/require users to move to on April 1, 2027. If these are not fixed, I would be forced to download data and create my own reports/graphs. That’s doable, but is uncessary extra effort that would lead me

Within a survey, I have students submitting a personal statement into an essay text box, but their response summary pdf does not retain the line breaks that were included in their original essay text box.  My understanding is that this is due to the discrepancy between plain text and HTML format, but beyond this, I have very limited knowledge of JavaScript. (Even my wording probably reveals my ignorance here.)I’m not sure if this is a text piping issue because I’m not trying to pipe text into a different survey section or email.  I’m just trying to have the response summary pdf mirror the formatting of the student’s text box response.  Any insight or workarounds would be appreciated!

Hi I would like to use the MacArthur Scale of Subjective Social Status on a Qualtrics Survey. This requires at the minimum a vertical scale, preferably with a scale ladder graphic. Does anyone have any experience developing/designing this? Or any advice to improve my efforts, equally welcome! So far I've blended knowledge from across the developers corner and not been super successful. But I am close... I think. First: Choose Question Type: Constant Sum , 1 statement, vertical format. Second: Updated Look and feel> General<link href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/nouislider@14.6.3/distribute/nouislider.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /><script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/combine/npm/nouislider@14,npm/wnumb@1"></script>Third: Updated JavaScript Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){ var vSlider = document.getElementById('uiSlider');  noUiSlider.create(vSlider, {   start: 50,   step: 1,   direction: 'rtl',   orie

How do I show the number of words in text entry boxes? I have several on the page.

I usually don't leave feedback related to user interface designs or decisions, but I have found the new e-mail distribution UI and process to be awful. Prior to the new UI and process, all options related to creating an e-mail distribution—selecting recipients, scheduling a time for the e-mail to be sent, identifying the sender and reply to e-mail addresses—were on one single page. With the new UI and process, I must advance through four or five different web pages, waiting for each to load, to do a simple e-mail distribution. On one page I choose the recipients. Then I must advance to the next page (which takes time) to identify the sender and reply-to. Then I must advance to the next page (which takes time) to schedule, etc. This is a tremendous waste of time. In addition, when I create a new email using the same instrument, I am forced to type a sender name, reply to e-mail address and re-type the subject line I want—every single time. Prior to this new user interface, Qualtrics rem

Hi Community,I'm experiencing inconsistent results with the Calculate Metrics task in a Qualtrics Workflow and would like to understand if this is expected behavior or if there are any known limitations.Use CaseI have a workflow that needs to determine whether all assigned reviewers have submitted their responses before proceeding to the next step. For example:Project ABC is assigned to 5 contacts maintained in a list. Each respondent receives a survey invitation. The workflow uses a Calculate Metrics task to count the number of responses received for that specific project/assignment. When the count of completed responses with filters as specific question response is Approved equals the number of respondents, the workflow should continue.IssueThe output of the Calculate Metrics task is not always accurate when the workflow runs. In some cases:Recent responses do not appear to be included in the count. The calculated value differs from the actual number of responses visible in the survey

How can I compare my 2025 and 2026 survey results in the same dashboard?I’m currently preparing my 2026 dashboard and would like to include a comparison with the survey conducted in 2025. In the Comparison widget, when I check the Source field, the only options available are “All” and my 2026 survey. How can I make the 2025 survey available as a source so that I can compare the two surveys?

Hello,I accidentally deleted a couple of Follow-up tickets - is there a way I can get them back?

How do I add a heading above statements in matrix / constant sum question.  For example, adding “Departments” in the left column above surgery, etc. (see below)
