Hi, I have the following scenario: we have a Simple Table which has a ranking of users and their associated NPS. This table is for managers, and we want the users to be able to see, in another page of this dashboard, their position within this table (e.g. if user A is in row number 4 in this table, there should be some widget saying that he is in position 4, or that 3 other users have a greater associated NPS than his). Is it possible to do this?

I can’t seem to get custom validation regex working properly.At this point it feels like I’ve tried everything.I want to validate that the answer is a 9 digit number.So I would expect a regex like ^\d{9}$ to work.I’ve also tried ^[0-9]{9}$ and same thing there.Anyone who knows how you are supposed to do this?

Hello, I am trying to code a drag and drop question using Simple Layout, where a participant has to allocate 12 candies (items) across a certain number of baskets (groups). I have successfully moved the items  in a horizontal row above the groups and centered them. However, I can’t seem to center the groups. Hello, everyone!I’m struggling to ensure that my videos display well for all participants regardless of the device they are using to complete the survey. I’m talking about smartphones, tablets, and laptops/desktops.I’ve embedded YouTube videos using the HTML code from YouTube.When the HTML code used a height of 315 and a width of 560, the videos were only partially displayed on my smartphone’s screen (Samsung A71).I found a suggestion here https://community.qualtrics.com/custom-code-12/resize-videos-to-fit-screen-24737 to change the width in the HTML code to “100%” and the height to “auto.”After that change, the videos started fitting on my Samsung phone screen, though the useful area of the video, the one with the picture showing information, became a bit smaller.At the same time, the computer version of the video became long and narrow, and the video itself occupies a very small part of the screen while about two-thirds of the area is black space:My question is: Is there any HTML cod

Hello everyone,I’m looking to set up an experiment in Qualtrics and would appreciate some advice on how best to implement it.Participants will initially see an image showing several product categories. The image will include a chevron/arrow, and when the participant clicks on the chevron, I would like two additional product categories to be revealed.Ideally, the interaction would work like this:Initial view: only the original product categories are visible. Participant clicks the chevron. The display expands and reveals two additional categories. The participant remains on the same Qualtrics page throughout the interaction.I can upload the image(s) to Qualtrics, but I’m unsure of the best way to make the chevron clickable and trigger the expanded view.If anyone has implemented something similar, I’d really appreciate any guidance or example.Many thanks!

Hi, newbie question but I can't find an answer in the forums so hope someone can point me in the right direction. I simply want a list of users where accountStatus=active. Using the List Users call gives me all users, and adding accountStatus=active as a parameter gives me a string https://fra1.qualtrics.com/API/v3/users?accountStatus=active , but it still returns all users, both active and disabled. Maybe I'm mistaken in thinking using a parameter in this way acts like a filter. I'm new to working with API's (I use Postman) and don't know json or python, although just beginning to familiarise with json. Ultimately, I want a list of emails of active uses. So if there's a way I can exclude the other elements of the body, like id, username, etc, that would save me some cleaning up (which I do in Note++). Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am trying to create something like this on my dashboard using a slider question. Ideally, I would like to plot each individual response, which would then allow me to calculate and display the average.I have tried using the Scatterplot widget, but I can only get it to display the total of all responses rather than the individual responses.As always, thanks for your help!  

I want to make sure that multiple respondents will not have the same external data reference value in my directory. I have set up a workflow for a survey so that if a respondent qualifies (the survey acts as a screener for my project) then their participant ID #, which is generated with the embedded data field Login ID = ${rand://int/100000:999999}, will be exported into one of my directories along with their name and contact information. I have set it up so this Login ID will be exported to this directory as each contact’s external data reference value. I am a little worried about the chance of a participant randomly being assigned the same value as a different participant for their Login ID. So, if a contact has the same external data reference value as another contact in the same directory, will I get an alert or some kind of notice? Has anyone found a better method for assigning eligible participants unique identification numbers? I do want to say that the participant will need to

I discovered an extension in the client's environment named "New Text Message SMS via Postman Account." I want to understand how this extension was developed, as I haven't found any documentation on the capability to develop such a provider.  

 We’re running an experiment where our short 6 second video clips need to ideally load in Full screen mode when the question displays allowing the user to click play on the play button that is auto-embedded over the screen. New Survey Taking Experience. Switching language mid-survey remounts the question DOM and re-runs addOnReady. On that re-run this is a bare internal object:[ctx] ee hasQid= undefined hasGetChoices= undefined keys= [] getInstance(QID17)= functionSo this.questionId is undefined, selectors built from it return null, and this.getChoices() throws. First pass is fine, only the translate replay is broken. Stack: onTranslate → onEntered → notify → forEach over registered custom JS.Also: the outgoing tree is still mounted during the replay (duplicate section.question ids), and the JS source seems re-evaluated per render, so caching on the callback itself doesn't survive.QuestionData.getInstance(qid) still works during the failing pass, so the workaround is to capture the qid on the first pass, park it outside the callback, and use getInstance() instead of this.Scripts that only write embedded data are unaffected. In most of our project, we are surveying various schools. A survey is created for each school (so that we can track the response rate and quickly address any errors). The challenge, however, is that when working with a large number of schools, you currently have to download each report individually.Is there a way to download these reports in bulk?You should be able to write some code in Python to do this, but for that we need the Qualtrics API – and it seems we do not have access to it. So we are looking for any other ways in which we can download survey reports in bulk? Thanks for your ideas!

Hello,  I need panelists to evaluate 6 different products in a randomize order, but the order is already set (aka cannot let the system randomize in loop and merge). For that I would like to have a multiple choice question that should be shown 6 times asking them which product they are evaluating and for each time they select a product there are a set of questions that need to be asked all the 6 times. Is there a way to do this?Thanks.

Hi, I’m having an issue where as soon as I enter the collaboration code of a survey shared to me, it states “You do not have permission to accept survey collaborations.”What are the steps to fix this?

In a survey I've added mp3 files so that the survery takers listen to the audio then have to answer a question about said audio. I noticed that there is an option to edit the playback speed for the file, and am wondering if there is any way to disable this feature as doing so may be detrimental to the results.

Good afternoon community! I have been approved to move forward with sending out my survey. Just curious…This is a NON- anonymous survey to 60 managers. I am choosing the “generate a trackable link for each contact” I thought I would be able to send from my work email but it looks like Qualtrics wants me to send from theirs and then each of the 60 managers will get a different link that I could run a report on after, is this the correct process? I don’t want to do this wrong, thanks so much!

Recently a number of users on our license received a “Welcome to Qualtrics!” onboarding email. It seems that it was received by users that created accounts in our license within the last month or so. The email does come across as quite phishy, but I do believe it’s legitimate (just poorly designed). I have no reports of these onboarding emails going out in the past 13 years we’ve had a Qualtrics license. Qualtrics support stated that they don’t typically send out onboarding emails but they do have a new user experience rolling out so it may be part of that and that I should check with my rep. I have done this, but waiting on a response and it typically is like pulling teeth trying to get information from our rep. Have others recently had users receive onboarding emails that include your org’s name and a Log In button?

Background:We heavily utilize the WDC 2.0 data connection in Tableau Desktop to pull in Qualtrics survey information. In October, Tableau released the 3.0 version of the WDC, which requires Qualtrics to build a .taco file to connect to it. The last WDC 2.0 compatible version was Tableau 2022.4.  We assumed we’d continue to use 2.0 until Qualtrics released a 3.0 version and told users not to upgrade their Tableau Desktop versions.Problem:In the past two weeks many users have reported their Qualtrics connectors have stopped working. The users haven’t upgraded their version of Tableau. Connections are just giving errors and no longer bringing in information.Is the Qualtrics connector breaking in Tableau Desktop for anyone else? How are you resolving it? From support:Tableau support states that it's the Qualtrics side that we need to talk to to get the 3.0 connector working - Qualtrics needs to build a .taco file connector. There's a question in the XM Qualtrics Certified library: "At this company, people are held accountable for their performance." I'm trying to trace where this question originated and determine which driver it's mapped to within the Qualtrics framework.Does anyone know whether it's tied to a specific EX driver, or have access to documentation that shows its driver classification? It says it’s a certified question, but I can’t find the attached driver associated with the questions. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
