Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Hello everybody! Has anyone else run into an issue where they try to start a conversation with Berry, the Qualtrics AI Assistant, and receive the error message "Error starting chat"?Berry has been my go-to resource since we launched our new survey program, but I've been experiencing this issue for the past few weeks. If anyone has encountered this before and knows how to fix it, you'll be my hero!I've also been working with Qualtrics Support, but so far we've had limited success resolving it.

Hi, wasn’t there a product release note lately, that the Comment Summary Widget in EX can now be used without setting up TextIQ in advance? If not yet released, is this planned in the near future?thank you for the information

Hi everyone,I'm seeing an unexpected issue in OXM and was wondering if anyone else has run into this. When checking the Emotions and Actionability analysis, over 60% of the survey feedback isn't being tagged at all. Most responses are fairly detailed, with multiple sentences, and many contain what appear to be clear emotional signals and actionable feedback.Has anyone seen this before or knows what might be causing it? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Do we have a feature where Qualtrics AI can generate topics by own, right now we have to either use Qualtrics library or create our own?

Hello everyone!    My company and I are looking to launch a survey, and are looking to create a sample of customers to test the survey on. This survey uses display logic that is informed from embedded data only, and we want to utilize AI to build a sample of “fake” customers, in order to gather responses faster for our testing purposes.    Is it even possible to utilize Qualtrics AI to do this? Has anyone used AI to create a customer sample before in Qualtrics? If so, what was the accuracy of the responses?    I would be grateful for any insight anyone has to share! Thank you in advance!

I tried using the note on the API page: https://api.qualtrics.com/55231bbc7cd3c-mcp-overview#qualtrics-mcp-serversI made some progress, but have been unable to connect it. If someone gets it set up please follow up here.

I have a survey that is translated into 36 languages, with EN-US being the base language. I have response clarity switched on for an open-text question. In the documentation, it does state that the languages available are limited and teh prompt shows in the base language of the survey. However, I have my base sent to English. When testing the German survey, the prompt appeared in English on one occasion and German on another. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

New AI tools to save you weeks on text analysisHello everyone!I'm excited to share some big news about a new feature we've been working on: AI Assisted Topics in Discover Text Analytics. We know how much time and effort goes into building and maintaining topic models, and we believe generative AI can make a huge difference in helping you get to insights faster. To show you exactly how this works, check out this short demo video.  Here's a quick overview of what's included and the value it can provide to you:Topic Hierarchy Generator: Instead of building a model from scratch, you can now let AI do the heavy lifting for you. Just select your project and give it some basic info about your use case, and it will generate a tailored topic model for you. This means less manual work and a faster start. Smart Query: This tool lets you generate or update your topic model rules with a simple click, helping you keep your models precise without a ton of manual effort. This ensures your models stay

With the new AI features, is it possible to "pipe" output of Insights Explorer/AI Assist back into a dashboard (ie dynamic bullet points of findings available to the dashboard viewer)

AI has been doing great at all the different industries. We all see Experience agents feature introduced in Qualtrics. Would love to have a discussion on your experiences on this new feature and the use cases.

We have activated the Qualtrics Assist feature on our dashboards. We ensured that the Text IQ model was at a decent baseline before activating Qualtrics Assist. While the output was promising and of good quality to start, we began to notice that the model wouldn’t include the verbatims and instead include provide completely blank or “COMMENT ID” in place of providing verbatims in the output summary.  We really want to roll this out to our org but with this issue persisting, we’re concerned folks won’t rely on this feature.  Has anyone else seen this and successfully found a workaround/resolution? Thank you!

Hello! We are running a study where we want participants to be able to see some instructions, then interact with ChatGPT (i.e. be able to have a multi-turn conversation), then answer some questions. We would like to do this in Qualtrics if that is possible (but if you have any other ideas, please let me know!). We ideally want to be able to see what they have written and received from ChatGPT too.I know this is probably going to be quite complicated, but if anyone has any ideas or can even just explain what is possible in Qualtrics (i.e. is it possible to have a 1-turn conversation where the participant puts in one prompt and receives feedback?), I would really appreciate it!Thank you :)

I’m using a custom chat script that lets users chat in real time, and now I want to integrate LLMs into it. From what I understand, I might need to set up a proxy server, but I’m not sure if that’s strictly necessary. My main questions are: Is it possible to send API requests directly to servers running the AI models using AJAX/HTTP calls, or will I need to go through a proxy? If direct AJAX calls are possible, what parameters or request setup details usually need to be adjusted so that the LLM API accepts them? If a proxy is the recommended approach, what’s the simplest way to implement one for this use case (so I don’t have to rebuild my chat framework or redirect users to a new page)? The key requirement is that the chat stays on the same page, I can’t use the existing web service frameworks for LLMs since they force a page change.Any guidance or examples would be much appreciated!

Hello all, I would love to connect with Financial Institutions that are currently using the Qualtrics AI features to discuss the experience in implementing and using them, challenges, opportunities, etc.  We are currently evaluating a contract migration to include them. Thanks!

Thanks to @JamesScutt and Adoreboard for a great presentation on AI for customer trust and loyalty. I really appreciated the thinking about driving adoption by staff; the idea that to improve customer outcomes, we can also leverage AI internally; empower people to experiment in ways that they find comfortable in their workflows; and celebrating when they are able to use AI to work more efficiently and effectively. These validate our experience at NLM and I’d love to keep int ouch as things develop!

I hope everyone has had a chance to read the McKinsey + Qualtrics Potential of AI Report. If you haven’t, here is a shameful plug to give it a read! AI is a game changer, there is no disputing that. AI is transforming key things across industries by enhancing productivity, elevating growth, and providing opportunities for process improvement.HOWEVER, for those of us in Financial Services the adoption has been very slow and cautious due uncertainty on regulatory requirements, consumer protection laws, and uncertainty on how we’re keeping our clients personal & financial information safe from threats. Discussion questions for the group:Are you using AI professionally in your roles? What about personally?   If so, would you feel comfortable sharing an example of how you’re using AI?  How does your firm approach the use of AI in the workplace? Is it more of a productivity tool? Do you have teams in place that govern AI’s use across the organization?  What challenges have you or your f
