CC another Qualtrics user for a ticket that is not assigned to them without creating a Ticket Team or Group

It is not possible to include additional department heads directly on a ticket when a customer complaint spans multiple departments. Creating a multi-department ticket team or group would only overload dashboards and add unnecessary clutter without improving resolution.A more effective approach would be to enable a ticket owner the ability to CC individuals. This would ensure the appropriate departments are notified of complaints that affect them, while the ticket owner remains accountable for resolution. Visibility through CC would support faster problem-solving and provide valuable insight for process improvements across the business.Let’s improve the current ticketing process with this option. I’m sure there are many incidents for other companies that could relate to this issue and are looking for ways to improve the current ticketing platform.

Eventsubscription surveyengine.completedResponse.{SurveyID} returning Status = 'Full'

On Tuesday, 9th September, we discovered that the Webhook / Event Subscription surveyengine.completedResponse.{SurveyID} stopped sending Status = ’Complete’ to our endpoint, which caused the related part of our application from working roughly ~70-80% of the time. About the Status parameter, the document claims this: The status will always be Complete if successful https://api.qualtrics.com/66b2ec694d5c2-webhooks Instead, the POST call to our endpoint receives Status = ’Full’ most of the time. There is no mention of a change in behaviour in any documentation that we can find, nor is there any reference of a string ‘Full’ in any of the documentation that we can find. Is this a recent change, or a bug?If it is a change:What exactly does the Status = ’Full’ mean? When will that be sent instead of ’Complete’? Are there other Statuses that could also be sent, and under which circumstances? We can replicate this simply by taking a survey. Most of the time, it will send Status = ’Full’, but

Storing embedded data separate to survey responses

Is it possible to store embedded data uploaded via a contact list separate to the respondent’s survey responses?I have a survey that we intend to distribute via a contact list uploaded to Qualtrics. In that contact list we will have several embedded data fields.Some of those embedded data fields are fine to be recorded with the respondent’s survey answers as they won’t allow the respondent to be identified. These are needed for piped text, survey branching in the survey flow, and to analyse survey results.Other embedded data fields are only needed to determine if our survey responses match our population. E.g., our population is made up of 33% males, 33% females, 33% other...do our survey respondents match this gender distribution?However, the second set of embedded data fields would mean we can identify the survey respondent and we want the survey to be anonymous.Is there a way to record the first set of embedded data fields with the survey responses, but not record the second set of

Set of a multiple choice question with text both before and after the option choices

I need to creat a multiple choice question where I have text both before the 4 choices are presented and after them, below.  It should appear as it does in the screenshot but without using an additional Text / Graphic box. I want all text to be in the same box, else, the text after the 4 choices will be too far away and this could create confusion. I know Qualtrics does not accomodate for this setting so I was wondering if anybody could help me with a custom code to do that. Creating workflow or automation to generate a full data export.

Inline Question Displays Unpublished Changes

We are testing changes to a live survey program that impact the inline survey question text, answer choices, and translations. We have not published the changes to the survey and did not plan to publish them to production until testing was complete. We now see that the unpublished changes have actually been displaying within the inline question in the email sent to live/production recipients. The piped text for the inline question text and answer choices display the unpublished labels that we do not want displayed until the changes have completed the testing phase. This includes changes to survey translations as well that were not published. When the inline question answer choice is clicked, the survey opens and correctly displays the published version of the survey. See the documentation for inline questions here, where I do not see it documented that inline questions display unpublished survey changes: Email Survey Invitations Is this expected behavior? Access Denied- Help please!

Workflow to share dashboard to slack

I’d like to send a link to a dashboard to a slack channel weekly to bring greater visibility to the data but the workflow builder is failing me.Although in the setting for my dashboard under tools it has a section on workflows, when I go to draft the message and pipe in text the text field is blank and does not show me options for data I can put in. I’ve set up other slack workflows and they do have contents there.I’m pretty sure this is a bug?! Am I missing something?

Is there a global default for simple tables in results or reports

I am interested in setting a global default setting for creating results or reports such that the default is not a chart, but a simple table. I can do this by selecting each question and setting it up, but my survey has about 100 questions. The AI bot for Qualtrics support leads me to believe there is a way to do this. However, customer support at Qualtrics says this is not possible and that the default will always be a chart. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Best, Karen

JS code to calc data (number of days) difference sometimes blank

Hi All,  (sorry title should have read ‘JS code to calc number of days between two dates but sometimes blank’)I am seeing some intermittent issues in calculating the difference between two dates using some JS code in a question that is shown at the beginning of my survey. Below is a pic of some example data showing the issue:  Both the Contact_DIR_Default_Prophet_Segment_Lastmodified and TodayDate embedded fields are being populated ok but sometimes the Days_Since_Prophet_Updated field is not being calculated. I’m aware that often if JS code fails for one reason or another it can return just a blank / null value and so I’m wondering if there is a way I can capture an error code if it fails to understand why.  Is that possible? I’ve manually tested the dates that didn’t work above (console window of my chrome browser) that didn’t show a figure and they work fine. Below is my setup in order of sequence: Survey flow: TodayDate is populated and Days_Since_Prophet_Update field created   Sur

How to automate the scheduling of survey reminders for EX lifecycle surveys

Based on the new EX Lifecycle emails (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/employee-experience/creating-ee-project/messages-tab/message-automation-el/) functionality, it doesn’t appear to be possible to automate the scheduling and sending of project participation reminders.Previously I could schedule the survey reminder email, how many times the reminder would be sent, and how many days to wait before sending a reminder.All this functionality appears to have been stripped from this upgraded emails distribution tool.Does anyone currently use this on an EX lifecycle project with the legacy email distribution functionality?

Countdown timer ONLY if tab/window active?

Howdy, I am trying to make sure a participant watches a video embedded in my survey. I have set it up so that the advance button only appears after X+3 seconds where X is the duration of the video, but I realized that there is nothing preventing a user from visiting another tab, or if on mobile, opening another app and entirely disregarding the video--i.e. if they arrive at the question with the video, open up instagram for at least X+3 seconds, and then return to the survey, they can advance… is there any way to make sure the qualtrics timers only “advance” if the tab or survey window is active?Many thanks in advance! I inadvertently posted this to the wrong subforum originally--please pardon the duplication!

Need Help Collecting Embedded Data

Hi there! I’m trying to create a survey in which participants are able to move through various videos on the same page, viewing one, then picking another one, whilst being able to move on past the videos at any time. I was able to accomplish this with the HTML and JS outlined below. The issue I run into is collecting the embedded data. That is, I want to log what videos participants select, and how long they spent watching it. Update dashboard data with new questions?

Hi,we have a configured EX dashboard with several questions from the survey.When we now adding questions to the survey they do not show up in the dashboard (data).I know that I can add the new questions question by question in the data source tab.But is there maybe a more “elegant” way to update the dashboard data by refreshing it completely without messing up the whole dashboard??Thx

Automatically delete IDP records

Hello,I have an IDP that has around 3,000 records and I need to delete all the records daily for as per our organization’s privacy policy. I tried to delete it using an API, but I get failed tasks because of API limit.Is there a workaround anyone can suggest please? :)  Thank you!Dani

Date validation (DD/MM/YYYY) in form field or single line text entry failing

So I have a few conditions I have trying to implement into a form field question (and after much headache, trying with two different single-line text entry question too). Here are the conditions for two fields - Start Date and End Date (or two questions if that be the case):1. End date has to be after the Start date2. Start date has to be on or after 17/04/20263. End date has to be on or before 31/03/2029I have tried implementing Javascript conditions (and disabling all in-built Validation/Response Requirements) to test incorrect entries, and that worked to an extent with a pop-up which comes when I click Next. However, if I click ‘Ok’ in that box, it proceeds and accepts the incorrect entry anyway. Now I am back to square one and feel like keep it simple with the in-build validation condition. The only issue is that if I create a Custom Validation for dates (so Start date >= 17/04/2026 AND End date <= 31/03/2029 in the form field) it seem to only read the DD part as a comparison

How can we use XM Discover Text iQ topic model in our regular project text iQ?

We received an export from Qualtrics with the topics that were implemented in XM Discover. The goal is to use these topics in our regular project Text iQ. However, I am concerned that this file may not be formatted in a way that will yield positive results in Text iQ. We can’t export topics from XM Discover as a JSON file. You can only export CSV or XML. We tried converting this to JSON and importing it but didn’t work which I believe is due to the fact that the format is completely different. I would really appreciate if someone can help here. Thank you!

List Being set to Private even when I turn it off

My Lists in directories seem to keep being made private even when I unclick the “Make data in this list private.” My survey data cannot be private do to needing embedded data information when I download the results. If someone knows a solution to this issue, I’d greatly appreciate it
