Does Qualtrics support connecting to the Tango sandbox platform (https://tango-portal.sandbox.tangocard.com) for testing Tango integrations with Qualtrics workflows? If so, are there any tricks to setting this up?

In XM Directory, I merged two contact lists that had overlapping emails. Now some contacts appear with duplicated attributes. Is there a structured way to manage attribute conflicts during merges?

What’s the best way to structure metadata so the EX dashboard hierarchy updates automatically?

 I am writing to request assistance with a recurring issue I am experiencing when calling the Chat Completions API from within a Qualtrics survey. The endpoint works correctly when I use the “Test” function inside Qualtrics, but when I preview or run the actual survey, I consistently receive the following error:“The server had an error processing your request. Sorry about that!”This occurs even when I use a very simple request with no piped text (for example, asking the model to output “Hello from Qualtrics”). Hi All, I have a survey which uses a csv file to populate embedded values used in a series of drilldown questions. The survey responses are extracted via a python script with “useLabels : True” set in the download request. Recently the survey was updated to add a new response option. Since that change, the API extract populates several columns with both answer text (STR) and recode values (INT). So I get text values and numerical values--which likely correspond to the csv file which populates the answer option. Is there a reason why our other surveys using the same structure (but have not changed) continue to export text labels without any problem, while the recently changed survey has mixed data types in some columns?Many thanks for your thoughts.

Context: I am working on a "Website/App Feedback" project, specifically using intercepts inside a Mobile App. We are using the Mobile Embedded Feedback creative type (Guided Intercepts). As per the standard behavior of this creative type, it automatically created "Embedded Survey". My goal is to control the volume of responses based on the user's Country (Embedded Data).Problem: I am facing a "dead-end" regarding quota management due to two limitations: Survey Limitations: The automatically created survey for Mobile Embedded Feedback does NOT have the "Survey" tab (only Workflows, Data & Analysis, Results). Therefore, I cannot configure standard Quotas inside the survey options as I would in a standard project. XM Directory Limitations: I tried to control this via "Targeting Logic" by integrating with the XM Directory. My idea was to create a Segment based on Country and limit frequency. However, the documentation states: "For mobile users, additional information cannot be added.

I am a brand administrator and our university uses SSO with just in time provisioning  for our users to self-create a new account.  I would like to send an email to every new user when they create an account with information on their account, survey/response/email limitations, who to contact at our institution for help, etc.  I can’t figure out how to accomplish this.  I tried to create a workflow but I can’t find an event that matches this situation to trigger sending the email.  Has anyone else accomplished this task?

We are in the process of moving all of our automations over to workflows. these automations include survey invite distributions via email. Qualtrics support has told me that workflows do not support segments so wondering how those who currently send survey invite emails via segments are going to do so moving forward as Qualtrics transitions us out of automations into workflows?  

Hello,I’m using a Pick Group Rank question for 9 possible options across 3 groups. Respondents need to pick 1 option for each group. The validation is set for each group to contain a minimum and maximum of 1. All of that works fine.But I ALSO want to add a custom validation so if the respondent chooses a specific option, they get an error message (that option is sold out). I know I can just remove that option or use display logic to prevent it being displayed at all, but I want that option to remain on the list and for the validation to fail if it’s selected. I can’t figure out how to add that custom validation on top of the “each group contains” validation. The Qualtrics interface really makes it seem like one or the other.Appreciate any guidance you may have!

I also contacted Qualtrics support, and they confirmed that the error is coming directly from SuccessFactors.I have opened a ticket with Qualtrics, but I am working with a tight deadline, so I wanted to check with you as well.Has anyone encountered this specific error before? Hi everyone,I’m currently working on building an Employee Experience (EX) program that includes an integration with SAP SuccessFactors (SSFF). Some of the data we need comes from Employee Central (EC), and for that, we’re using the native Qualtrics plug-in.However, we also need to bring in information from other SSFF modules (such as Benefits, Learning, etc.). I believe we might need to use the API integration for this, but I’m not completely sure if there are any risks or limitations with that approach — or if there’s a simpler way to achieve it.Has anyone here tried integrating these additional modules into Qualtrics before?I’d love to hear about your experience or any best practices for handling this type of setup.Thanks in advance!

I know there isn’t a built-in decision tree visualization widget in CX dashboards, but I’m wondering if anyone has tried creating something similar using the existing widgets. And after further tests, all users under our brand account have these projects shared with them.When looking in collaborate via the project owner, no account is selected to be shared with.How do I stop sharing these, seemingly automatically?Thanks :)

This seems trivial but can’t figure it out. I would like to include a simple “respondent counter” variable in a survey, with the counter autoincrementing with each (completed) response. That is, the data table of responses should contain a simple integer field showing “1” for the first repondent, “2” for the second and so on.I’ve looked into various possible solutions, such as:setting embedded data in the survey flow (no counter options) post-survey options (no counter options) quota functionality (“quota count” comes close, but is a single auto-updated number, not a field within each survey response)Importantly, I need this counter variable already present in the survey reponse/data table in order to add it to a contact list (and have it available for downstream surveys). So offline creation of the counter (e.g., based on response datetime) is not an option. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi Everyone,I’m trying to clearly understand how Qualtrics determines the base language for an email template/survey.In our case, the content was originally written in English, but when translations were added later, English was never added via the “Add Translation” option. Now, English does not appear as a selectable language in the translations list, and another language seems to be treated as the base. So I wanted to confirm:Is the base language in Qualtrics determined by the first language that is formally added via the Add / Edit Translation option, rather than the language in which the content was originally written?Also:If English was only used as a drafting/template language but never added as a translation entry, does that mean it can never be treated as the true base later without rework?

Hi, allI’m building a survey that will be distributed to various teams across a couple of departments via an anonymous link. I want to build an org hierarchy with expected response numbers, and include a question where respondents select their level in the hierarchy.I want to create one hierarchy that contains several departments, and the survey link sent to teams will identify their department. When the hierarchy question is displayed, I’d like them to see only the levels within their department, not the whole hierarchy.How can I do this?Thanks

Is there a way to trigger a workflow when there is a change in directory attributes “Number of Surveys Completed” and “Date Most Recent Survey Completed”? We want this data to sync to Salesforce each time any survey is completed.
