Unanswered questions

I have a massive survey with over 60 matrix questions that all have the same scale points, these questions are all contained within their own block. (I have not yet done this but each question will have display logic on it so that each participant only sees one of the matrix questions, not all 60+). I need to add a piece of embedded data in the survey flow where it places a negative value in the embedded field if “Poor” is selected. I know that I can do this by creating a whole bunch of OR statements, one for each question, but am wondering if there is a way to do this for the entire block since the entire block only contains matrix questions which all have this same scale point. 

Does anyone know how to add an iframe title to a custom embedded feedback creative?in cases where we use other creatives such as feedback buttons etc we can see the option to add an iframe title as show in this image: however when we use a custom embedded feedback creative we do not have this option:  

Dynamic Starting Point for Alphabetized Order: I’m interested to discover a way to randomize names on a survey question (roughly 1-300 names) that would maintain alphabetical order while rotating the starting point for each participant as they access the survey. Specifically, I want the selection to remain in alphabetical order (A…Z), but to begin at a different letter for each respondent by randomly selecting a starting point. For example, if the names are as follows:Alice Bob Charlie DavidOne respondent might see:Bob Charlie David AliceWhile another might see:Charlie David Alice BobWe would greatly appreciate any insights, code snippets, or resources that could help us achieve this functionality using JavaScript or customized features within Qualtrics.Thank you for your assistance!

Greetings!To avoid order effects, my team and I need to randomize conditions, groups, and blocks in several ways. Unfortunately, this complexity of Qualtrics programming falls outside of my current repertoire and what I have been able to find on YouTube and by poking around on this community site. Do API exports behave differently if a survey is actively collecting data during edits?

Hi there dear community :)Is there a way I can use the Mobile App SDK and still get an Embedded App Feedbakc, allowing a directly pop up of a survey, without the creative first? I want to be able to prompt directly the question (CES one) and avoid the pop-up.  I know we can always use a link of a survey and put in string all the embedded data, but I rather still use intercepts so I can enjoy the capabilities of sampling etc.

How does Qualtrics determine whether a workflow trigger fires once or multiple times for a single response, and what internal response states influence this behavior?

Has anyone incorporated the new email survey workflow with Zendesk and saving it as a transaction? I know the task within the “template” is being depreciated, but whenever I try to add a contact/transaction to the XM Directory from a Zendesk event, I get blocked with the message that a data task hasn’t been set up yet.We had been saving ticket fields through Embedded data but I think we need to move to Transactions since embedded data is being over-written with multiple tickets. It is becoming more common where a user can have multiple tickets can be resolved same day and we need to pivot to Transaction to avoid data confusion.  If I set up the “Send an email task” from the Zendesk trigger, I think I will be forced into using Embedded data and continue to have the same issue as above.

Scenario:After SSO authentication, I want to capture additional dynamic information from the user profile (like department etc.) and store it as Embedded Data. This data will later determine which survey questions appear.Questions: How can I dynamically fetch and store this data after authentication? Is it possible to avoid resetting Embedded Data fields that were set pre-authentication? Are there performance considerations for fetching multiple fields dynamically?

We're not getting much insight from support into solving our Zendesk use case problem other than "its Zendesk problem" but I have a hard time believing that what we're doing is an edge case. We are using the workflow template but the final task isn't letting us update a ticket if we are not updating fields that are required on the ticket itself. The fields that cause the error are fields are required to close, therefore are populated before our distribution trigger kicks-off. They are also dropdowns in Zendesk but the task doesn’t let us just pipe the selection that came in with the task back to the case to update the field we want to. We’re just trying to add a tag that a survey was sent so we don’t erroneously send surveys if the ticket is reopened or updated in Zendesk after the survey is distributed. Has anyone else seen this or found ways to accomplish this with the Zendesk extension. I will like to download all the information from our Course Evaluations and would like to make sure that I have the sentiments part also that shows up in the dashboards.

Hi Everyone,During our course and faculty evaluation implementation, the Qualtrics implementation team set up that our Instructor dashboard would be available for faculty to view based on a dashboard release date (15 days after the end of our semester). This is set in our data transfer from our SIS to the Qualtrics SFTP server. I looked in our SIS and that date was supposed to be December 27, 2025.It is not working now for the fall 2025 evaluations.I chatted with someone from Qualtrics in the chat box, but they said a workflow was depreciated in the Course and Faculty evaluation project and I needed to set up a new Workflow in Directories. They gave me some instructions but I am not seeing Step 2 at all.Wondering if someone from this group can point me in the right direction so Faculty can see their fall 2025 evaluations. I am a brand administrator and our university uses SSO with just in time provisioning  for our users to self-create a new account.  I would like to send an email to every new user when they create an account with information on their account, survey/response/email limitations, who to contact at our institution for help, etc.  I can’t figure out how to accomplish this.  I tried to create a workflow but I can’t find an event that matches this situation to trigger sending the email.  Has anyone else accomplished this task?

I’m trying to get the stars question behave as when selecting 3 stars - 3 are becoming highlighted (have color fill) and so forth. At the moment I can’t seem to be able to create this experience. It seems weired to me… We don’t mind doing it from the SDK but also there it seems like the option is not available.  Someone was able to reach this experience?

How can you carry forward Embedded Data values from one survey to another while avoiding overwriting existing values?

I have a matrix question with numerous statements but all are within a group as shown below. Can I set display logic based at the group level or do I have to set it for each individual answer option?Perhaps it is better to have a separate question for each group (where display logic can be set at the question level) vs. one large question...?  

My dashboard numbers don’t match the survey responses. What are the common things to check first?

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on building an Employee Experience (EX) program that includes an integration with SAP SuccessFactors (SSFF). Some of the data we need comes from Employee Central (EC), and for that, we’re using the native Qualtrics plug-in.However, we also need to bring in information from other SSFF modules (such as Benefits, Learning, etc.). I believe we might need to use the API integration for this, but I’m not completely sure if there are any risks or limitations with that approach — or if there’s a simpler way to achieve it.Has anyone here tried integrating these additional modules into Qualtrics before?I’d love to hear about your experience or any best practices for handling this type of setup.Thanks in advance!

I have a client that would like to use their own URL for the survey.  They will be printing the invite on receipts and also sending an email invite from their platform with information through the query string.  Those details would include things like date of visit, location they visited, etc.  The URL would be something like www.brandlistens.com.  What I’ve read through vanity URLs is that you would still have to enter www.brandlistens.com/jfe/form/SV_….Since we will be asking people to type this URL into their browser, we do not want to make them type in all of the extra after brandlistens.com.  We do not want to redirect them to another page either, we want the address bar to continue to show www.brandlistens.com after they’ve entered the survey rather than showing the full brand.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/….Is this something that can be accomplished?  We’ve tried to mask the redirect so it still redirects, but masks the URL but since it’s a non-secure redirect it is throwing an error.

I have a form on a webpage that is pushing the multiple choice field selections to the Qualtrics survey correctly. For some reason I cannot get a Text Entry or Form Field where someone is going to input an email address to come through. Has anyone else been able to send text entry or form fields back to Qualtrics using their API?
