Hi everyone,I’m running an online study using a Qualtrics survey that includes a slider question ranging from $0 to $1200. Participants are asked to indicate a specific dollar amount by adjusting the slider.I’m concerned about the default behaviour, where the slider handle is initially anchored at $0. This requires participants to drag the handle across the scale, which may inadvertently introduce anchoring bias, participants might stay closer to $0 simply because of the starting position, rather than reflecting their true response.Ideally, I would like participants to be able to click or tap directly on any point along the slider track, so that the handle moves immediately to that position. They could then fine-tune their response if needed before proceeding.Is there a JavaScript workaround that enables click-to-place functionality on the slider track?

Hello,We are in the process of launching a retail client that utilizes a 4-4-5 fiscal calendar.  They want to use that for reporting, when looking at scores for this period vs. last period.  Or any trends over time.  Is there a way to add that data into the dashboard to report out using the clients fiscal calendar?

Hi everyone,We are configuring the Map widget in Qualtrics and we have a question about the location label displayed for each point.Right now, the widget asks us for a location field using the physical point coordinates (latitude/longitude). When we load the coordinates, the map places the points correctly, but the labels shown for those points are the coordinates themselves.What we need is for the label to display the branch name or branch key/code instead of the coordinates.Our challenge is scale: we have more than 1,000 physical locations, so using manual edit mapping is not a viable option.Has anyone configured the Map widget so that:the point location is based on latitude/longitude, but the visible label shows another field, such as branch name or branch ID/key?Is there a native way to do this in Qualtrics, or would it require a workaround such as embedded data transformation, custom mapping, or custom code?Any guidance, examples, or best practices would be greatly appreciated.Tha

Hello everyone,I’m working on a use case in Qualtrics where we need to update the ticket status if a respondent does not respond to the survey for 7 days.The requirement is: A survey is triggered for a respondent linked to a ticket. If the respondent submits the survey, the ticket status gets updated  as closed based on the response. However, if no response is received for 7 days, we want to automatically update the ticket status (for example, mark it as No Response or Closed). Since there is no response data in this case, I’m unsure how to implement this logic in Qualtrics.Has anyone implemented something similar? What would be the best approach using workflows or ticketing logicAny guidance would be really helpful.Thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone,I am trying to create a workflow in which I can trigger a single survey twice on the basis of different triggers.Here's the workflow that I need:Trigger survey  to send out.Survey 1 gets answered, i.e., respondent selects Detractor for his NPS response.Now again, same survey gets triggered for the same respondent in the second instance.Respondent gives NPS response other than his previous one, i.e., he becomes a Promoter.Now, I want the response of the second instance to overwrite the previous response.However, if respondent skips responding in the second instance, previous response remains final.So, basically if respondent gives new response, update the response else use the previously saved one.Can anyone suggest how I can do that using QualtricsThanks in advance.

HI,  I am working with a team member that wants to create a question that ask a Start Time and End time.  How do I achieve this?There is a “2 minutes with Qualtrics” video that says to use flapjack but no support for custom code.  Any suggest for start time and end time question that allows answers likeStart time 12:00pm End time 1:50pm

Hi allI would like to know if it is possible to create a survey that will display a unique set of options based on the user. I have a different data set per user which Id like them to respond to. Is it possible that when they enter their own name at the start, that then references the data and provides their own corresponding options to then respond to?eg, John Smith has the names of 10 people in the data set that Id like him to provide reviews for. When he enters his name into the Survey, those 10 people will then auto-fill for him to review. Id like to build this for around 50 people who will each be required to review completely different lists of names.Any help appreciated!

Hi all. I have 2 questions and both are matrix table. Q1 is about the main services categories and let responant to give points say 1-5 and N/A. Q2 is the sub-categories of the main services and also let people to rate points. For example, in Q1, have several main services listed in matrix tables like Network; Helpdesk etc and each item people can rate 1 to 5 or N/A. in Q2, it is the sub services which related to the main services say WiFi, LAN, VPN etc for the main services “Network”. If responant rated 2 for Network in Q1, how to make this value “2” to become the default value of all statement (WiFi, LAN, VPN) in Q2? I hope you can imagine what I am talking about. thank you.

Hi, is there a way to PDF export all individuals responses at ONCE as PDFs from the Data & Analysis page?  Currently, this seems to be one-by-one from this page - is there examples of how this can be done? Thanks

I have a survey that is translated into 36 languages, with EN-US being the base language. I have response clarity switched on for an open-text question. In the documentation, it does state that the languages available are limited and teh prompt shows in the base language of the survey. However, I have my base sent to English. When testing the German survey, the prompt appeared in English on one occasion and German on another. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

HelloRecently a new issue occurred on one of our Digital Intercepts survey. The Intercept triggers ok, but when you click on ‘Provide Feedback’ Button survey is not launching. We have not changed anything in Qualtrics on our side of Set up. IT are saying there were no changes made that would affect intercept. Any ideas what could be wrong? anyone came across similar issue?Thanks Anna

In Qualtrics, parent-child hierarchies used in dropdown or search questions only allow selecting nodes that have children, which excludes lowest-level (leaf) users. When working with large participant lists, what is a scalable and maintainable way to ensure these leaf users can still be selected and evaluated—without adding dummy participants to the hierarchy?

Hello, We are approaching our seat limit with our contract, and want to remove some employees who are no longer with the company to free up some of our seats. I am hesitant to move forward with this because it says ALL data connected with user will be lost. Does that include previous survey responses? I am under the impression that it is any surveys that they may have owned but am looking more specifically about data loss. Any clarity would be appreciated!

Hi All, In the Advanced Transform task (where you can write a python script) to manipulate the data, I would like to know how, like the code task, you can return a value or string that is available to use in a later tasks.  All the help (and bots!) say it’s possible using something like return { summary: summary_text } but this needs to be wrapped in a function() I believe. The other option is to use something like #print(SUMMARY=summary_text) This get’s to the log, which is a downloadable file but I’d like to pass this into the proceeding email task.  Every variants I’ve tried still won’t show it up in the piped text dropdown. Is this possible? Thanks Rod PestellPS there is no ‘Advanced Transform Task’ tag so had to select ‘Task’!

I want to send out an email invite to a survey but want it to send every other week (on Thursdays at a specified time) but am not able to figure out the every other week cadence. I can see where I set it up either weekly or monthly, but it seems there’s no in between option. Please advise

I have a simple 1-question survey with 2 answer options (yes/no). I have embedded data in the survey, pulled in from the contact list I uploaded. As a respondent, when I select the “No” answer, everything looks fine. However, when I select yes, it adds “custom value” behind the actual value of the embedded data. Here’s the “No” response: Vs a “Yes” response: It’s a problem because I use this embedded data in an email response to the respondent, and it comes through in the email with “custom value” included. I have done it several times with the same results. I’ve also deleted myself from the distribution list and re-uploaded myself, still the same results. At this point I have no idea what else to do to troubleshoot. Ideas? 

I’m trying to use qualtrics.com/WRAPI/SiteIntercept/api.php?Request=getInterceptStats to get info about an intercept, but keep getting a 500 error with the Qualtrics error code ESRV47. I have full control of the Intercept, and am using a brand admin account, so I don’t think it’s related to user permissions. Is there a web page somewhere that details what these error codes are?

Hi everyone. I'm new to Qualtrics and here and I was wondering which is the best way to have a complete report as to all activity in the workspace, with aspects such as:Surveys created Intercepts created creation date status - active, deleted etc, number of responses number os interactions tags associated with it owner survey idI've tried the activity report, I've tried downloading through the old report model, through the tag manager where you can export and the import back and every single one gives me different data.I'm not sure which one is more complete than the other and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on this for me. My company is very sctrict as we must control usage of our contract and usage by business unit and I haven't been able to give a successfull answer so far...

Does Qualtrics support connecting to the Tango sandbox platform (https://tango-portal.sandbox.tangocard.com) for testing Tango integrations with Qualtrics workflows? If so, are there any tricks to setting this up?
