I am looking for a way to set up a question that is more UX testing functionality like this. Where the cost dynamically changes when I select a coverage length. Could anyone point me in a direction if this is even possible and how? Hi, As Qualtrics lacks WhatsApp distribution automation currently, I want to build a workflow where this task can be automated, So using the Webservice task I can post the Key and the dynamic values to Twilio and then it triggers a WhatsApp message, however the webservice task do not generate a personalized link like any other distribution task like SMS or send email task does .I would like to get some answers for this, how we can generate the personal links for each contact that is being triggered from the source system and using the piped text we can send the generated personal link to Twilio?

Hi all,We have som transactional surveys happening based on SF integration (e.g. Case closed in SF, survey is sent), and we would like to start sending notifications to the internal team when the survey has been sent. Due to the directory settings, we do not send surveys to the same people within a certain time frame. So if there are multiple time when condition is met the Workflow is triggered each time, but the survey is sent only once.Email task functionality in the workflow was my initial thought, but then it sends emails to the team every time the workflow is triggered, even if the survey sending was blocked by the directory settings.What kind of notification can we use/configure to ensure that it is only sent to the team when the actual survey is sent out? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have a survey with English as base language and French as translation. I don't need the English version as I’ll send the questionnaire in France. Is there a way to delete the English version and keep the French one? I only find ways to do the reverse (when I want to change the base language to French, Qualtrics wants to delete the French version). Note that I don’t want to simply hide the language dropdown menu, as I want to be able to modify the questionnaire on the main page and not on the translation section.

My program sends a out a 10 question survey (mixed quantitative and qualitiative responses) to attednees of webinars. It typically takes 3-4 minutes to download the results of each survey - very slow and disruptive to my workflow. Is this typical of Qualtrics? I tried customer support but they don’t seem to see this as an issue. Does anyone else have this issue and is there a way to speed up the data download?

Newbie here…I have a matrix table question of bipolar type with one statement and 9 scale points. The scale points have no text but there are 5 graphics. Graphics are attached to scale points 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. Each graphic is 141 px W x 174 px H. My understanding is that Qualtrics fits the graphics into the standard width of the output screen, which renders as below.  The graphics have been scaled down to approximately 55% of original size so they fit, and pixelation now makes it difficult to distinguish between them. I then added in Look and Feel > Style > Custom CSS:img { max-width: 200% !important; }With this change the screen renders as below. The graphics have been scaled up to approximately 110% of original size. They have also been shifted to the right. A right-shift was also present in the first rendering, but it is small enough to be acceptable.So my question is: How can Qualtrics be controlled to render graphics at an acceptable (preferably controllable) size and be al

I am trying to make Qualtrics work via Tealium.I managed to make it work both via Tag and Extension separately.But via Tag I had to create a base_url UDO variable and replace it with the url in the template by mapping the variable, instead of the tag just being configurable (by adding survey id and site intercept server. Is there any better way to handle this? Or do I just make changes to the base_url in the template? Is there a way by which I can create a lookup table or something in Tealium which will load a particular Qualtrics survey based on the url and survey combination. The objective is that I want to create sort of like 1 Qualtrics code and a configuration which is scalable. Which one should I use, if I want to scale, tag or extension? Anyone who has done this via Tealium, any best practices or recommendations?

I have a bunch of messages in my Library but I can’t seem to access them when creating an email in my workflows.Any ideas of what might be happening?Image of what I see.  I know there are messages out there. 

Hi everyone — I’m building a Qualtrics survey with a “points wallet” system.On the same page, respondents: choose a travel mode (Drive Alone / Carpool / Transit), and each mode has a points cost, and enter “How many points would you like to use today?” (partial payment). I need the numeric entry to be capped at the selected mode’s cost (e.g., if Drive Alone costs 250 points, the input must be ≤ 250). The mode’s cost is stored in an embedded data field S1D1_CostPoints, but I realized embedded data doesn’t update until the page submits, so standard validation can’t read it on the same page.What’s the best way to enforce this constraint on the same page in Qualtrics? (JavaScript solution is fine.)For reference, my export tags are S1D1_Mode (mode question) and S1D1_PartialPay (numeric entry).

Is there a way to set the Loop & Merge option so that participants may loop an unlimited number of times? The way it is set up automatically, it appears they can only loop a maximum of 5 times?? (or at least that is what it defaults to and I don't know how to change it).

Hi, I am not sure if anyone can help. I have a Lifecycle Offboarding survey, Qualtrics is also integrated with Success Factors to daily update automatically the EX Directory. In SAP SF - the business rule is configured for termination events with a Timing trigger for the Survey to be sent 21 days before Termination Date. When a New Event termination is added in SF SAP and has this timing, I can see the employee automatically populated in the Qualtrics Participants. Question: if  in SAP SF there are already termination events added before the Qualtrics solution goes live, but the employee termination date is in the next 21 days -- will those employees still get triggered and populated in Qualtrics Participants?My understanding of how this solution works is only when the New Termination event is added in SF SAP -- this is what triggers the business scenario. What is there is a change in the Termination Date? will those employees get picked up as something was modified in the Job Info Ter

In Qualtrics, parent-child hierarchies used in dropdown or search questions only allow selecting nodes that have children, which excludes lowest-level (leaf) users. When working with large participant lists, what is a scalable and maintainable way to ensure these leaf users can still be selected and evaluated—without adding dummy participants to the hierarchy?

I have stand alone workflows set up with custom cron expressions that are not working as anticipated and as appearing to be programmed correctly - per Qualtrics support “The entire statement can't be treated as an AND statement. This means that it was checking for if the day was 15th-21st or if the day was a Thursday. They confirmed that, it looks like there isn't a way to set up a Cron expression that specifically sends on the first, second, or third Thursday of a month.” This is very frustrating and there is nothing on the Qualtrics side stating this is not possible and there was an error in the expression. This will be very time consuming as every 2nd and 4th Thursday I am sending out email invites to a specific survey and every 3rd Thursday it needs another email and survey invite sent (different from the one that is sent on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays). I have two data sources joined using the Data Modeler. There’s one field in each source that I want to compare and keep the lowest value. If I were in a spreadsheet, I’d just use a MIN function, but I’m not sure how to do this in Qualtrics.As a workaround, I’m currently using a custom metric that multiplies the two values. This doesn’t give the minimum directly, but it produces a number that correlates with the lowest value.For context, both fields have values from 0–3. Multiplying all combinations gives scores of: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 9. A score of 0 means both values were 0 Scores of 1, 2, or 3 mean at least one value was 1 Scores of 4 or 6 mean at least one value was 2 A score of 9 means both values were 3 This approach gives me the information I need for the dashboard, and I can use conditional formatting to color-code the scores back to 0–3. I’m using the following JavaScript to have a dynamic Text Entry box when “other” is selected. If the user selects, “other” but doesn’t type anything in the text entry box, the box disappears when the user hits the “next” button. This may seem like a pretty basic operation, but I somehow can’t figure out how to accomplish this…How do you pipe the selected answers / choices from a Matrix Table question (Matrix type: Likert; Format: Profile)? I tried different formats as listed below, but none seem to produce the result that I was expecting. If important - this is for an email workflow, but I assume that piping should work the same across the entire survey platform. In Qualtrics XM, when using a parent-child hierarchy tied to a participant list (not a Directory), the hierarchy search question allows respondents to look up and select a person to evaluate, but Qualtrics does not natively store that selected hierarchy unit in response data. As a result, the challenge is figuring out how to reliably capture the selected person (and their organizational context) as embedded data so that, in Data & Analysis, you can see both who submitted the assessment and who the assessment is about. I am wondering if there is a work around to this issue? I’ve tried various JavaScript within the dropdown question holding the hierarchy data but nothing has worked. 

We are using the Employee Journey Analytics (EJA) project to map multiple lifecycle programs to a data model and dashboard. We are now trying roll out the dashboard to managers to use the dashboard in the platform to monitor results. While project administrators can access the EJA project and its dashboards via the main “projects” page in the platform, there seems to be no easy way for dashboard viewers (without EJA data model access) to access the embedded dashboards via the platform UI. Instead, the only way to access the dashboard is via a direct link to the dashboard that is shared outside the platform to the user. These users have permissions to view the dashboard based on the user roles setup within the EJA project. The dashboard does not appear in the Manager Assist app > View Results tab which is what I would expect. The dashboard does not appear in the Projects page. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to make the dashboard display as an available project to dashboar

Hi,I have a workflow triggered by survey response.I have a decision task say D1. If D1 is true, I would like an email task E1 to execute. If false, skip E1. Then i want the flow to go to next step in workflow following E1. How can it be done ? In my case if the D1 is true, it continues and finishes entire flow. Hello, I have four (non-randomized) multiple choice questions which have both the groups and the answer choices themselves randomized (not the questions). I am then using display logic to bring forward the answer choices selected to a 5th question. I want the order of the choices displayed for this fifth question to be the same order as the survey taker saw them in questions 1-4 aka maintaining the same random order. Can anyone please assist?

Hi, this topic relates to workflow logs: Is only the owner of the worfklow allowed to download validation or transformation reports in excel? What is actually the best practice to ensure a smooth transition from an implementation team to the future responsible for workflows?  I am aware that you can avoid this issue with impersonating the owner if you are brand admin but isn’t there any better way to do so? Thanks a lot in advance,Arne

Hi All, I am wanting to see the email domain in my distribution funnel dataset (ie not just a survey response but when a survey is sent so that I can get a record of the number of bounces by domain in a dashboard) and so I was wondering how best to do this.  My thinking was to create a stand alone workflow using the Experience iD change, a code task using the piped text for:Contact ID: (~{qde://objectId})Email:  ~{qde://common.Email} then taking the string after the @ and then updating an embedded data field in the directory perhaps through an API (as I don’t want to have to select a mail list).  I would create an embedded field prior in the directory and call it Email_Domain. I think this part would be feasible but I assume that still wouldn’t be connected to the distribution funnel.  How do I do that bit? Alternatively if there is a way to do this directly in the distribution funnel that would be great.  I wanted to do this task this way (at the contact level) rather than for each di

Hi! For some reason, my qualtrics survey does not seem to run smoothly on Microsoft Edge. The error message “something went wrong - we were unable to connect to our servers.
