Hello, I am trying to code a drag and drop question using Simple Layout, where a participant has to allocate 12 candies (items) across a certain number of baskets (groups). I have successfully moved the items  in a horizontal row above the groups and centered them. However, I can’t seem to center the groups. Hello everyone,I’m looking to set up an experiment in Qualtrics and would appreciate some advice on how best to implement it.Participants will initially see an image showing several product categories. The image will include a chevron/arrow, and when the participant clicks on the chevron, I would like two additional product categories to be revealed.Ideally, the interaction would work like this:Initial view: only the original product categories are visible. Participant clicks the chevron. The display expands and reveals two additional categories. The participant remains on the same Qualtrics page throughout the interaction.I can upload the image(s) to Qualtrics, but I’m unsure of the best way to make the chevron clickable and trigger the expanded view.If anyone has implemented something similar, I’d really appreciate any guidance or example.Many thanks!

Hi, newbie question but I can't find an answer in the forums so hope someone can point me in the right direction. I simply want a list of users where accountStatus=active. Using the List Users call gives me all users, and adding accountStatus=active as a parameter gives me a string https://fra1.qualtrics.com/API/v3/users?accountStatus=active , but it still returns all users, both active and disabled. Maybe I'm mistaken in thinking using a parameter in this way acts like a filter. I'm new to working with API's (I use Postman) and don't know json or python, although just beginning to familiarise with json. Ultimately, I want a list of emails of active uses. So if there's a way I can exclude the other elements of the body, like id, username, etc, that would save me some cleaning up (which I do in Note++). Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am trying to create something like this on my dashboard using a slider question. Ideally, I would like to plot each individual response, which would then allow me to calculate and display the average.I have tried using the Scatterplot widget, but I can only get it to display the total of all responses rather than the individual responses.As always, thanks for your help!  

I want to make sure that multiple respondents will not have the same external data reference value in my directory. I have set up a workflow for a survey so that if a respondent qualifies (the survey acts as a screener for my project) then their participant ID #, which is generated with the embedded data field Login ID = ${rand://int/100000:999999}, will be exported into one of my directories along with their name and contact information. I have set it up so this Login ID will be exported to this directory as each contact’s external data reference value. I am a little worried about the chance of a participant randomly being assigned the same value as a different participant for their Login ID. So, if a contact has the same external data reference value as another contact in the same directory, will I get an alert or some kind of notice? Has anyone found a better method for assigning eligible participants unique identification numbers? I do want to say that the participant will need to

I discovered an extension in the client's environment named "New Text Message SMS via Postman Account." I want to understand how this extension was developed, as I haven't found any documentation on the capability to develop such a provider.  

In most of our project, we are surveying various schools. A survey is created for each school (so that we can track the response rate and quickly address any errors). The challenge, however, is that when working with a large number of schools, you currently have to download each report individually.Is there a way to download these reports in bulk?You should be able to write some code in Python to do this, but for that we need the Qualtrics API – and it seems we do not have access to it. So we are looking for any other ways in which we can download survey reports in bulk? Thanks for your ideas!

Hello,  I need panelists to evaluate 6 different products in a randomize order, but the order is already set (aka cannot let the system randomize in loop and merge). For that I would like to have a multiple choice question that should be shown 6 times asking them which product they are evaluating and for each time they select a product there are a set of questions that need to be asked all the 6 times. Is there a way to do this?Thanks.

Hi, I’m having an issue where as soon as I enter the collaboration code of a survey shared to me, it states “You do not have permission to accept survey collaborations.”What are the steps to fix this?

There's a question in the XM Qualtrics Certified library: "At this company, people are held accountable for their performance." I'm trying to trace where this question originated and determine which driver it's mapped to within the Qualtrics framework.Does anyone know whether it's tied to a specific EX driver, or have access to documentation that shows its driver classification? It says it’s a certified question, but I can’t find the attached driver associated with the questions. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I’m using a Qualtrics MaxDiff template with two scale anchors and my product descriptions (saved as JPG files) are sandwiched between those scale anchors. Unfortunately Qualtrics has compressed those images to make them fit between the scale anchors and that makes the product descriptions impossible to read. Is there a way to temporarily enlarge the text for these product descriptions when a survey participant hovers over the image that’s sandwiched between the scale anchors?  I would welcome any tips or tricks to solve this problem.  Thanks!

I’m trying to set up a yoked design in Qualtrics and would love some advice on the simplest way to do it.I have ~600 advice responses from Part 1, each with a unique Advice IDIn Part 2, I want each new participant to be randomly assigned one unused AdviceID, so that the same advice isn't assigned to two people. Qualtrics would then display the corresponding AdviceText and collect the recipient's usefulness rating. I need to retain the AdviceID so I can merge the giver and recipient data afterward.I was planning to use Google Apps Script + Qualtrics Web Service + Supplemental Data, but I can't seem to create/use a Supplemental Data Source. I uploaded my CSV as a Library File, but it doesn't appear under Survey Flow → Supplemental Data → Select...  and I don't have “Supplemental Data Source” under Library → New Resource.So I'm wondering:Is there a better/native Qualtrics way to accomplish this without creating ~600 branches or survey versions?For example, could I have an external ser

Hi Everyone,We have a requirement to send 3 reminder emails to customers if they have not responded to the survey.The customer reminders are already configured. However, along with the customer reminders, we also need to notify the Account Manager on the 3rd day after the initial survey distribution, but only if the customer has not yet responded.Our expected flow is:Day 0: Survey is distributed to the customer. Day 1: Reminder 1 is sent if the customer has not responded. Day 2: Reminder 2 is sent if the customer has not responded. Day 3: Reminder 3 is sent to the customer if they have not responded, and an email notification should also be sent to the Account Manager. If the customer responds before Day 3, the Account Manager notification should not be triggered.Could you please advise on the best way to configure this in Qualtrics Workflows

We are trying to setup “custom” email for distributing surveys using our own company sub-domain email address. The process explained by qualtrics https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/distributions-module/email-distribution/using-a-custom-from-address/appears to be straightforward and we followed all the steps both as “Brand Admin” as well as on the IT side as well. However, after everything done, it has been almost 72 hrs and we are unable to “Activate” the custom email. I could be wrong, but this is most probably because qualtrics only shows MX and DMARC records verified, while DKIM is still showing unverified.  I assume the “Activate” tab will not get activated unless DKIM is verified? Right now the “Activate” link within the Activation window is “frozen” and cannot be clicked. As per our IT folks the public DNS is all set in dns lookup.I would appreciate if anyone who has setup custom domain can confirm my understanding and share their experience. This is pretty much li

I have 3 email tasks in a workflow which are sent at 3 different times relative to the submission date, X. The emails include a link to a second survey which must be taken within 3 weeks from the original submission (X+3wk).Task 1: Sends immediately, on day X. Includes a link to survey 2. ‘Please complete this survey within the next 3 weeks, by X+3wks.’Task 2: Sends 1 week after submission (X+1wk). Includes a link to survey 2. ‘Reminder: Please complete this survey within the next 2 weeks, by X+3wks.’Task 3: Send 2 weeks after submission (X+2wk). Includes a link to a survey 2. ‘Final reminder: Please complete this survey within the next week, by X+3wks.’My question is whether my piped text dates for 3 weeks, 2 weeks, and 1 week out should be relative to the submission date, X (when the workflow is initially activated), or relative to the email task execution date, e.g., X+1wk. Hello!I have a survey which asks for the participants impression of a brand before and after an event.In StatsIQ I can look at these two factors and see the change between their answers before and after.I want to put this on a CX Dashboard for stakeholders to view. Having the analysis within StatsIQ on the dashboard is not a suitable solution - people wont look in there or understand the tool.What is the best way to visualise this information on a CX Dashboard?

Hello! Let’s say: I have Q1 which asks what time people usually go to bed (in 24 hour hh:mm format), and Q2 which asks what time people usually wake up (also 24 hour hh:mm format). Q3 asks approximately how many hours people sleep on average. If the answer to Q3 is more than the number of hours between Q1 and Q2, I want it to return an automatic error message. How do I do this using custom validation or javascript? Hi there  Have built a pop up intercept for an Android App and I cannot get an X button in the top right for the respondent to press if they want to leave the survey, it appears on iOS but not on Android? Any reason why or how I can get it added. Would expect there to be an X in the top right of the picture. 

Hi there,I am essentially dealing with the same issue/question as this topic except that my form is open and has been live and collecting responses for months. It’s “fine” in that if I download responses as a spreadsheet, I can see the date the form was submitted, but if I go to export them as a PDF (which I would like to do for my records) then the piped text (see below) displays the present date (i.e., the date on which I download the PDFs).Is there a way I can get “RecordedDate” into my piped text there?  

I have same survey for Location as Berlin and location others. since Berlin have authenticator so i want to keep it different. How i can show mutually exclusive progressbar so Berlin have its own and other have its own and it not start at 50% and not jum 50 to 100 for other. 

Hello, I have a text entry question and I have added validation so that the content type is number only. I have a response that shows “9,000” in the response view but when exporting the data it shows as 9. Does anyone know how I can fix this so in the exported data I see exactly what they have entered?   

Is there functionality within Qualtrics to include as a survey question the ability to intake a list of people with individual line item data elements like Name, Company, Country as one of questions in the survey? If so, how to implement this? Currently we have a free text field as a survey question where submitters enter several names of people together with their company, country, job title, all together in one free text field. We need to parse this out and have the submitter enter into a grid so to speak, Name first column, company second column, country, then Job title, etc.How to create this in a survey? 

Hi,I have a simple requirement in CX dashboard to show a count of customers who participated in survey. When we choose Count Metric, it shows the Response count whereas I need to consider each account only once. It doesnt let us select COUNT AT CUSTOMER level in metric.For example, say below is the response count of each customer:Cust1 - 5Cust2 - 10Cust3 - 5I want to show the value 3 instead of 20 in my dashboard. How can we do it ? In my case Customer is an embedded field.Thanks in advance.
