Hi Community Team,Is there a way to have a unique bookmark path for different users when testing via the same preview link?We currently have an in-progress survey where both our team and the client are testing simultaneously. Since the bookmark location appears to be shared, changes made by one tester are affecting the other tester's progress.I tried modifying the /jfe4/preview/previewId URL, but I wanted to check whether there is a more robust or recommended approach to isolate bookmarks across testers.Happy to hear any suggestions or best practices from your end. Thanks!

Hi Community,I'm experiencing inconsistent results with the Calculate Metrics task in a Qualtrics Workflow and would like to understand if this is expected behavior or if there are any known limitations.Use CaseI have a workflow that needs to determine whether all assigned reviewers have submitted their responses before proceeding to the next step. For example:Project ABC is assigned to 5 contacts maintained in a list. Each respondent receives a survey invitation. The workflow uses a Calculate Metrics task to count the number of responses received for that specific project/assignment. When the count of completed responses with filters as specific question response is Approved equals the number of respondents, the workflow should continue.IssueThe output of the Calculate Metrics task is not always accurate when the workflow runs. In some cases:Recent responses do not appear to be included in the count. The calculated value differs from the actual number of responses visible in the survey

Hello,I accidentally deleted a couple of Follow-up tickets - is there a way I can get them back?

How do I add a heading above statements in matrix / constant sum question.  For example, adding “Departments” in the left column above surgery, etc. (see below)

We are trying to ensure that our responses to a survey are truly anonymous, but we would also like to use Individual Links to distribute the survey via email. The Qualtrics support documentation states: When responses are gathered with the individual link, enabling [anonymize responses] will remove the IP address and location data and disconnect the response from the contact who provided it. In this way, you can know which contacts have responded (through your distribution history and contact history), but not which response belongs to which contact.HOWEVER, if one downloads the distribution history, it includes a Response ID. This same response ID is associated with the response in Data & Analysis. So, a presumably anonymous response can technically still be linked up with with contact by matching the response ID. Is there a setting or work-around that will make a survey response sent via individual link truly anonymous? It seems as though the support documentation is not entirely

Hi all,I use JavaScript to create 3 columns, a drop down list (Option), a text field (Name) and a text field (Score) with 10 rows showing first (can be added to 20 rows). Then I added embedded data - “row_01_option”, “row_01_name” and “row_01_score” for up to 20 rows. However, I couldn’t record the embedded data in the responses. The Javascript link and the embedded data (attached) are below. Does someone know how can I record the embbeded data in the responses? I need it to pass my task. Many thanks.JavaScript Link:https://docs.google.com/document/d/17y9R7vC5dzm3H32CTmKs7gI6U-Vwu0IVctdf0iGxJoE/edit?usp=sharingRegards,Simon

HelloI have my account set to EN (UK). I have created dashboard and the Rich text Editor labels are different for users on language EN (US) to those labels set up on my account. Has anyone come across this and has a solution EN (UK)EN (US)

Sent 180+ personalized links with No Expiration October 16-19.Now receiving reports that the links have in fact expired. I cannot see any completed, or even incomplete, survey. Thus, I cannot use the work around of sending a “Retake Survey” link. Please advise.

I have a survey delivered through a Website/App Insights web intercept (pop-up/Creative), and I've enabled the Back Button under Survey Options → Responses. The button does not render at all on the live pop-up — not greyed out or disabled, it simply isn't present in the DOM/UI. Even the preview in Qualtrics does not show it.

How are you using different AI features, how helpful are these. can you share some best practices?

Looking to add a rank order Q with “I don’t know”at the bottom (not to be ranked if selected).  Early research indicates building a second question with only “I don’t know” but there is too much space between the two questions.  Suggestions?

Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with the Discarding Screened Out Responses feature in Qualtrics.According to the Qualtrics documentation, discarding screened-out responses should ensure they do not count towards the response limits on our license.I've followed the instructions and configured the screen-out settings in Survey Flow, but screened-out responses are still being recorded and counted towards our license limits.Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? Are there any additional settings that need to be enabled to ensure screened-out responses are automatically discarded and not counted towards our response limits?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Hi, I’m looking to have a rank order question and use the top results from the question to fill in the blanks of a text box later on in the survey. Is there a way to do that? Thanks!

is there a way to globaly change redirects simultaneously for 370 quotas; each one is a different employer and only one employee per is allowed.  Need to change the redirects from default message to host URL link.  Thanks

Hi everyone,I'm trying to assign respondents to a hidden category based on their answers to 5 survey questions. Here's my setup:I created category scores using numeric scoring. I added Branch Logic and used conditions such as "Score >= X" and similar criteria to determine which category should be assigned. I repeated the Branch Logic for the other 3 categories so that every respondent should fall into one of the category assignments. Inside each branch, I set an Embedded Data field to store the category. However, when I preview the survey, the category question/block is not displayed but automatically skipped, which makes me think that no category is being assigned.I'm wondering if I'm missing something in the setup. Has anyone successfully implemented a similar approach where respondents are automatically assigned to a category based on the combined scores of several questions? Are there any common mistakes with score-based branching and Embedded Data that could cause the category not

I would like to display the NPS score by provider in my Qualtrics dashboard. Could you please advise how to configure the widget so that the results are broken down by provider?Thank you!

Hello! We are a group of students at Georgia Tech studying industry standards for data processing and the tools used for large-scale data visualization for our research project. We are hoping to seek input from participants who specialise in working with data. The following survey contains 15 questions, and will take approximately 10 minutes of your time. Your responses to this survey are completely anonymous. We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other identifying information. Data from this survey will only be reported in aggregate (grouped) totals. No individual can or will be identified in any reports or publications.Thank you so much for your time and participation Survey link: https://gatech.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bqnCcLAk3VSu8XI

I have a dashboard showing survey responses from multiple brands my organization manages. It’s easy to report on NPS per brand in various ways (break out a bar chart by brand, filter different widgets to have one widget per brand, etc.). But is there a way to report on an overall NPS that is an average of the brand-level NPS values? Because each brand will have different quantities of responses, this value would not be the same as the simple whole-dataset NPS value.I made some attempts using custom metrics but didn’t get anywhere. Any recommendations?

Hi,I would like to use conditional pricing with the "vary prices" (multiplier) option. However, the "Willingness to Pay" calculation type is then not available in the standard reports for this setup. Is there a way to analyze willingness to pay per feature and level in this configuration, so with conditional pricing? If there is no standard report for this, are there alternative approaches we can use to examine the willingness to pay for individual feature levels? Thanks & Regards

Hello - we are distributing a community survey via an anonymous link (QR code and shortlink posted on a flyer). We are incentivizing the survey with a digital incentive via Tango Card. I understand that incentives can be challenging when you don’t control a distribution list of pre-determined possible respondents. We will be sending the gift cards to an email that respondents enter at the end of the survey, but we don’t know what those emails are going to be ahead of time. I’m wondering what the best practice is for designing the survey flow and settings to prevent people from being able to complete the survey more than once. Some of the security settings work as an initial barrier, but people can get around those by using different browsers and different devices. We’ll of course make sure that we only pay a given email one time.

Within a survey, I have students submitting a personal statement into an essay text box, but their response summary pdf does not retain the line breaks that were included in their original essay text box.  My understanding is that this is due to the discrepancy between plain text and HTML format, but beyond this, I have very limited knowledge of JavaScript. (Even my wording probably reveals my ignorance here.)I’m not sure if this is a text piping issue because I’m not trying to pipe text into a different survey section or email.  I’m just trying to have the response summary pdf mirror the formatting of the student’s text box response.  Any insight or workarounds would be appreciated!

Is there a way to disable the possibility to save incomplete responses in the offline app?

Hello!I have a survey which asks for the participants impression of a brand before and after an event. In StatsIQ I can look at these two factors and see the change between their answers before and after.I want to put this on a CX Dashboard for stakeholders to view. Having the analysis within StatsIQ on the dashboard is not a suitable solution - people wont look in there or understand the tool. What is the best way to visualise this information on a CX Dashboard?

Hello everyone, I have been using Course Evaluations for a little bit but ran into a bit of a problem that I hope someone in the community can help with.  We run an automatic import for our course enrollment data. We have everything mapped and we have selected “Overwrite Included Courses” checked off to account for any changes in the course. The problem is that when an instructor or TA changes, the change is not reflected in the Qualtrics directory data. For example: Johnny Rocket is the original instructor for BIOL100 section 001. In week two of the term, Johnny Rocket is replaced by Sammy Sosa as the new instructor for BIOL100 section 001. This information is updated in the import file, but instead of completely replacing Johnny Rocket for the course, Sammy Sosa is added as an instructor. This does not happen often, but I want to avoid having course evaluations run for both instructors and I don’t want to edit the evaluation survey data after the fact to remove the incorrect instruct

I’m using a Qualtrics MaxDiff template with two scale anchors and my product descriptions (saved as JPG files) are sandwiched between those scale anchors. Unfortunately Qualtrics has compressed those images to make them fit between the scale anchors and that makes the product descriptions impossible to read. Is there a way to temporarily enlarge the text for these product descriptions when a survey participant hovers over the image that’s sandwiched between the scale anchors?  I would welcome any tips or tricks to solve this problem.  Thanks!
