New Survey Taking Experience. Switching language mid-survey remounts the question DOM and re-runs addOnReady. On that re-run this is a bare internal object:[ctx] ee hasQid= undefined hasGetChoices= undefined keys= [] getInstance(QID17)= functionSo this.questionId is undefined, selectors built from it return null, and this.getChoices() throws. First pass is fine, only the translate replay is broken. Stack: onTranslate → onEntered → notify → forEach over registered custom JS.Also: the outgoing tree is still mounted during the replay (duplicate section.question ids), and the JS source seems re-evaluated per render, so caching on the callback itself doesn't survive.QuestionData.getInstance(qid) still works during the failing pass, so the workaround is to capture the qid on the first pass, park it outside the callback, and use getInstance() instead of this.Scripts that only write embedded data are unaffected. Hello,I’m new to the Qualtrics platform and need to set up a survey whose results must be reviewed by the appropriate employee from a list of 33. There is high turnover in this list and it needs to be updated very frequently (I anticipate 4 times in the next month), so manual setup is possible but high maintenance. Is there a way to populate a question’s answer bank from a contacts list so the user can select the relevant employee, and then pipe that answer into an email task workflow without relying on 33 manually created if branches and email tasks?

I have same survey for Location as Berlin and location others. since Berlin have authenticator so i want to keep it different. How i can show mutually exclusive progressbar so Berlin have its own and other have its own and it not start at 50% and not jum 50 to 100 for other.

I have 3 email tasks in a workflow which are sent at 3 different times relative to the submission date, X. The emails include a link to a second survey which must be taken within 3 weeks from the original submission (X+3wk).Task 1: Sends immediately, on day X. Includes a link to survey 2. ‘Please complete this survey within the next 3 weeks, by X+3wks.’Task 2: Sends 1 week after submission (X+1wk). Includes a link to survey 2. ‘Reminder: Please complete this survey within the next 2 weeks, by X+3wks.’Task 3: Send 2 weeks after submission (X+2wk). Hello, I have a text entry question and I have added validation so that the content type is number only. I have a response that shows “9,000” in the response view but when exporting the data it shows as 9. Does anyone know how I can fix this so in the exported data I see exactly what they have entered?   

Is there functionality within Qualtrics to include as a survey question the ability to intake a list of people with individual line item data elements like Name, Company, Country as one of questions in the survey? If so, how to implement this? Currently we have a free text field as a survey question where submitters enter several names of people together with their company, country, job title, all together in one free text field. We need to parse this out and have the submitter enter into a grid so to speak, Name first column, company second column, country, then Job title, etc.How to create this in a survey? 

I created a survey flow in Qualtrics for the 1st question. If they don't select certain choices, they get a end of survey custom message. However, since it's the first question, when you go to take the survey you immediately get the custom end of survey message and never see the question. What needs to be fixed?

Hi,I have a simple requirement in CX dashboard to show a count of customers who participated in survey. When we choose Count Metric, it shows the Response count whereas I need to consider each account only once. It doesnt let us select COUNT AT CUSTOMER level in metric.For example, say below is the response count of each customer:Cust1 - 5Cust2 - 10Cust3 - 5I want to show the value 3 instead of 20 in my dashboard. How can we do it ? In my case Customer is an embedded field.Thanks in advance.

I just want to say thank you to Qualtrics for extending the use of the older email distribution UI/process through December 1st. Please incorporate all the feedback we have provided to ensure the new email distribution is as user friendly and efficient as the older one!

I launched a survey that lacked a crucial question and I would like to add that question now. We have already had a few responses so we would like to be able to open up the survey again, including to those who have completed it. For those that have completed it, is it possible to only ask the one new question when they reclick the survey link? There should be a record of who completed the survey given if they have already completed the survey and they re-click the link there is a message that says ‘You have either already completed the survey or your session has expired.’

I have a 2 slider (bars) constant sum question adding to 10. As a respondent moves one slider, I want the bars on the other to dynamically adjust. Currently, enabling ‘must add to 10’ does not allow the respondent to move the slider beyond 10 minus value of second slider. However, I want the other slider to automatically move as the other slider is moved. Is there a js code someone has that I can use? Thanks for any help!  Pic of current slider attached.

I’ve been using Qualtrics since 2012 (!) and really love the platform. The past few years, I have had SO much turnover with my account execs for my company (and for the companies whose Qualtrics’ licenses I manage) and have been really disappointed with the complete lack of customer service. Which is ironic, for a company so focused on customer experience.I just got a notice for renewal for a company and can’t get in touch with my account exec (gosh, this again!) and nobody has gotten back to me about my questions -- is this the new normal? Has anyone else been experiencing issues like this. Hesitant to renew / recommend others renew if it is radio silence when you reach out / there is no clear point of contact for support. These are fairly large contracts… very surprised at the carelessness here and wondering if others are having similar experiences.

Hi, I’ve created a survey with a bunch of different question types. For most of them, I managed to recode the values/statements/etc. so the data directly exports with analysable labels.There are a few question types I struggle to achieve this with.My first problem arises when carrying forward multiple choice answers from a previous question (for which I have set labels) as text entry options to a form field. The multiple choice answers export with my set labels in the previous question, but export as _1 to _7 for the form field (instead of, e.g., caregiver_origin_mother, I get caregiver_origin_1). I understand that regular form fields do not allow for recoding, but is there a way to achieve it in this case?The more confusing problem is a matrix table with constant sum, for which I have recoded the choices’ export labels (y-axis) and labelled the statements/answers (x-axis). I run a program with dozens of NPS surveys built with multiple ticketing systems. Is there anyway to streamline say 3 different ticketing processes into one across unique journeys?

I am a longtime Qualtrics user. I feel like I am in expert in most things on the platform but the ‘Results Dashboards’ are not at all intuitive. I have read the online documentation multiple times and still struggle to create results dashboards for basic surveys. It takes so many clicks to customize the widgets in needed ways and it’s very difficult to know what to do to make basic visualizations.This new-ish feature is in no way an upgrade from the previous results-reports page. I understand I can revert back to the old version but worry about it the results-reports being phased out at some point. The dashboard version is clunky, nearly impossible for someone to use efficiently, and offers less customizability than results-reports. As someone who is responsible for encouraging my colleagues to use Qualtrics over other products like Google forms, it makes it even harder when the features are so difficult to learn.It would be great if Qualtrics would either dramatically improve the user

Hi, I’m new to Qualtrics and would like to see if it’s possible to display unique images to each participant within a survey.  If so, how would that work?  

I am have created a form for seven different grants to request the evaluation form they need for trainings to be created by our student workers. This was setup a decade ago through Wufoo which has plenty of difficulties so I want to move it to Qualtrics. The issue I am having is that I want the confirmation email that is sent to have a number in the title that increases sequentially by one for each request so it is easy to refer to different requests. I tried following these directions, but can not get the number to increase:  I am open to it being nonsequential. I just didn’t want to use Response ID because that is too long. 

Hello:I am new to Qualtrics and I currently have a survey that members are participating in. However, I have received a few messages stating that when they are at a certain section of the survey and asked to input a whole number, they are receiving an error message that states they need to enter a whole number and not able to move forward. Is there a way this can be corrected without having to send out the survey again? Many participants have already completed the survey. Thank you

Hi Team,We have the following requirement:When a contact is uploaded, a ticket should be created automatically, and the survey should be distributed. If the contact submits a survey response, the corresponding ticket should be closed automatically. this we have configured and currently active  If no survey response is received, the ticket owner will manually close the ticket. Upon manually closing the ticket, the survey should be re-triggered only for that specific contact who has not yet responded. how to achieve this?To test this, I configured a follow-up question in the ticket task named "Manual Closure". I submitted the ticket with the answer "Yes"; however, I do not see this follow-up question available in the Decision step of the workflow.Could you please help clarify the following?Why is the "Manual Closure" question not available in the Decision step after the ticket is submitted? How can we configure the workflow to identify only those contacts who have not submitted a survey

Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to give a user the SSO page when setting up the OAuth authentication. I followed this very clear guide (thank you Qualtrics!): https://api.qualtrics.com/api-reference/docs/Instructions/oauth-authentication-authorization-code.mdand managed to set it up which nicely results in the following screen: When you click on 'Sign in with SSO' users will get asked their organization ID before logging in with their SSO. Is there a way for me to do these steps for them? So redirect them immediately to the SSO page of the uni, because I know the organization ID but not all teachers know the organization ID resulting in a lot of questions. Thank you!
