FAQ for Carry Forward Choices
ย
What is the Carry Forward Choices feature?
Carry Forward Choices is a feature that takes selected answers from one question and displays them in a subsequent question. This allows respondents to further evaluate or rank items they've already selected.
When should I use Carry Forward Choices?
This feature is very useful when you want to learn more about the hierarchy among popular items. For example, if you display a long list of items in one question and have the respondent choose their five favorite items, you can then use Carry Forward Choices to have them rank those five items in the next question.
Can I add extra choices that weren't in the original question?
Yes! On a question with Carry Forward Choices, you can also add additional choices that are not present in the question you are carrying from. This way, the respondent has the opportunity to add an answer you may have missed.
