Change format of Inline question

Our client wants to change the existing inline question format like image 1 to image 2 format (the format used in the survey)
Is there a way to change the inline question to format 2 or something like it?

Have you tried changing the Layout type in the Look and Feel menu?

This won't work through the survey Look and Feel - as the inline question format is based on the HTML coded in the Compose Email section of the distribution. This means you can change the way it looks in your email to be completely different from the way it looks in your survey - without one affecting the other.
It technically uses html modification for a table - so all your modification needs to be done in the Compose Email section
