Date Picker Question Type

I would like to see a new question type that uses a calendar for a date picker. Many have community members have commented on this in the past and have tried creating their own.I use the one in the library that has HTML code which allows you to get the job done, but comes with its own set of issues. The one I found in the library only allows you to go back one month at a time. I think the solution should have the << and the < type of selections which allows you to jump years or months. The format in which it stores the date is also important to allow us to do calculations on it. The ability to do validations on it would also be desired.
