Have an open-end (text entry) applied to all columns of a Matrix question.

So I have a question that ask about current apps installed (rows) across 3 devices (columns). My last option is an "Other Specify". How can I make it so I can collect a unique other from each column or none, if left blank. For instance they might have an app that isn't listed installed on their phone but not their tablet, and have a completely different app installed on their smart watch.
So I would like to collect the open-end for the phone, allow the tablet to remain empty, and collect the open-end for the smart watch.
Is this possible?

A Matrix question doesn't support this. You could fake it with JS, but it would be fairly complicated.
