Hi everyone,
I've designed a survey in Qualtrics with two types of question formats (side by side and matrix) as shown in the attached images. Each question type includes several items (only 3 items are displayed in the images for simplicity). While I can use the 'Force Response' option to ensure all questions are answered before the respondents can submit the survey, it does not pinpoint exactly which item was missed if left unanswered.
I'm looking to enhance the user experience by highlighting any items that are not answered within each question block. Could someone help me with a JavaScript script that would allow me to:
- Prevent survey submission if any item is left unanswered.
- Highlight the specific items that are unanswered to guide the respondents directly to the missed questions.
