How to display questions as the previous one is answered in a randomized block? | XM Community

To avoid having a large matrix appear all at one for respondents, I've attempted having each item as separate multiple choice questions that appear sequentially on the same page as the preceding question is answered. I achieved this with this display logic, however I want the items order randomized, with an instructive text that is fixed at the top of the block. I achieved this through advanced block randomization options, but it appears I can't have both the display logic and block randomization work together. Even with display logic specified, all questions in the block appear on the page at once, just in a random order.
Is there another method to achieve this? I am open to javascript solutions if there are any, but I my skills with it are limited.

Do you have other questions that you want to appear on the same page? If you are okay to have your survey set up that each question appears on its own page you can do this through 1) look and feel 2)general 3) questions per page 4) '1' 5) save/apply.

But if you want some blocks to display multiple questions on a single page this won't work.
