I am trying to make a survey that has some odd functions. I have a matrix table with likert formatting. There are statements and they can choose either yes or no as an answer. I’d like that have a conditional formatting where if they click no, then a text box will pop up and they will have to explain why they said no. How do I go about creating that? I assume I’m going to need some code, but I have no idea what I’d be doing with it, so I’d need a bit of guidance in that area.

Unfortunately side by side, which is what you would want if you want a text box next to a yes/no radio box, is incompatible with question display logic (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/question-options/display-logic/). You can have the “if no, why” questions show up after the matrix of yes/no questions.
