Pop-up multiple choice question within a side-by-side question

On a side by side question, is it possible to embed a pop-up question within the side-by side question?e.g. something like this - where the respondent clicks on “Please Answer” and they are then shown a pop-up multi-choice question (modal?). After answering the “Please Answer” the text is changed to say “Completed” # Description Q1 Q2a Q2b Q2c Q2d Q3 Q4 Q5 Etc 1 {open text} Completed Completed Completed Completed {open text} Etc 2 {open text} Completed Completed Please click to answer Please answer Q2c {open text} Etc 3 {open text} Please click to answer Please answer Q2a Please answer Q2b Please answer Q2c {open text} Etc The pop-up multiple-choice question would have codes like:Option AOption BOption COption DOption EOther (please specify) * text entry *None * exclusive * I assume I’d also need code to store the answers to the pop-up question - I assume either in questions hidden on the same page or as embedded variables or another way - whichever is easiest?? @MikeWI believe you can’t squeeze a Multiple-choice question that have it’s own Text Entry and Exclusive. Also, your huge Side-by-side question will be a nightmare to focus on a single question. I suggest that you should use normal MC question, walk them through one-by-one patiently. You need the respondent to think about the question, recall their memory and give you the accurate answer, not this all-in-one table.
