Hello,
New Qualtrics user here. I'm creating a survey and would like to format it a bit more, specifically by reducing the white space between questions. I have read a lot about custom CSS code, but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried several different CSS codes with no effect. Below is a picture of where I'm trying to reduce the white space. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi KatjaT ,
If you haven't tried this already, go to the Look and Feel settings and change the Question Spacing to "Compact". Then try using it with or without the custom CSS you applied.
Add this CSS using HTML View to a question on the page:
Two notes:
- It would be helpful to include the theme, layout, and question type when you post this type of question
- You can use your browser's inspect feature to figure out what CSS rules to change

Great job MatthewM and TomG for providing solutions that got KatjaT to a solution that worked best!
Is there a way to do this for just one question instead of all questions? Thank you!
