Hello I have five blocks in my Table of Contents. Each block has 5-10 questions within two or three pages. The users of my survey will need to answer some questions and then come back later to answer other questions.
When a user progresses from one block to another Qualtrics considers the previous block to be "completed". Users for my survey often times need to jump around and return to different blocks as the gather and enter information for the questions.
I want Qualtrics to progress in a linear fashion from block to block regardless if the systems thinks the block is completed. This is a nuisance for users because when the return to the survey and Qualtrics has classified each block as closed the users is automatically taken to the last "submit" page.
I need to have a Table of Contents / Qualtrics that allows user to progress from block to block using the next/forward buttons and not automatically jump to a block that is not considered "completed".
I am working on figuring this out as well. Any progress yet?
Jacque Nothing yet. So far I have been informed it is not possible to change this behavior but I am still working on it.
RyanBrickman thanks for the update I reviewed the thread as well and I am wondering if you use the ToC block with the percentage progression bar if that would help. I believe that when they click on the block it will take them to the last question they left off on. The only thing with the percentage bar is that if the question is not required then it won't give an accurate percentage of what is really left to accomplish. However, they should at least be back in the correct section.
