the issue is that we collected the data from a survey in Qualitrics, but we didn't add two embedded columns that are important to the analysis,
what is the best way to add columns to be analyzed on the dashboard?

The best way here would be to first add those 2 embedded data in the Survey Flow and publish the survey. It will then show up in Data Analysis section of your survey project.
Post which you can use this API to update the embedded data for large responses in one go, or update each response manually if it is less in number like this. You will find a short triangle in the corner of the responses updated manually, Note that it wouldn't affect your reporting.
Once done, go in Dashboard data source and map these embedded datas to desired field set and you are good to go!
