Can I linkage 1 OE and 1 demographic data from 2 different data source in dashboard

Hi I am new in Qualtrics, recently I set-up a survey which including 1 OE question. We ask the respondent to fill in their student no.. On the other hand I have a demographic data which including their student no., gender and so on. I followed the guideline in support page, uploaded the demographic file into the data map, what should I do that can make when other user search the student no., it can show that this student gender and other demographic data? Thanks.

zcaqmx If I understand correctly, people have already taken the survey and you've added that survey to the data mapping in a dashboard. You then uploaded a CSV of the demographic data as a separate data source in the dashboard and you want to link those two data sources together using the Student Number as a key. Currently, Qualtrics doesn't support this functionality. If you have XM Directory, you can upload your students into the directory along with all of their demographic data. You can then have the students authenticate with their Student Numbers and all demographics can be added as embedded data in the survey.
