Hi everyone,

has ever anyone of you succeeded in making a Contentsquare Session Recording run in a respective CX dashboard widget?
I managed to make the Contentsquare-Qualtrics connection and session recording links are reported in my data, but when clicking on the video icon in my Contentsquare Session Recording widget the cursor circle rotates and rotates and rotates and rotates and nothing else happens.

😫 h.

Hello @HenrikeS, have you created a support ticket regarding this issue you’re having?

This doesn’t seem to be the intended functionality so I’d be interested to see if the Product Support team could help you see what’s causing this endless cursor rotating cycle. Let me know when you can! 🙂

Hey Henrike!

It sounds like that spinning cursor on your Contentsquare widget is a pretty common headache when the integration isn't using a native extension. From what we've seen in the community, many folks are using custom code to get those session recording links into their data, but the widget itself often struggles to actually play the video back, leading to that infinite loading screen. It's worth noting that those specific session replay fields like Q_SR_ID are typically built for Qualtrics' own DXA tools rather than third-party ones like Contentsquare, so the dashboard widget might not be equipped to handle the playback natively.

I'd definitely recommend double-checking your custom implementation against the official setup guide here: https://support.contentsquare.com/hc/en-gb/articles/4409053168914-Qualtrics. If the code looks solid but the spinner won't quit, it’s likely a deeper compatibility issue that requires a look at your specific dashboard setup.

Hi Lpena!
Thanks for your reply.

I exactly followed the official setup guide but it does not work.
