Can dashboard filters break if a survey question adds new values later?

It depends on how you have configured the filter.
- All Values - then all new values will automatically flow in the filter.
- IF you text or new embedded field values that will also come in the filter as new added values - not an error.
The only way it can break is if you delete, recode or change the IDs.
