Seeking collective wisdom! We are using a survey as a job application. I have a dashboard displaying survey results via a record table widget so that hiring managers can see the applicants and the full record view. I also have a directory contact list with the data field- Hiring Status. This directory list and data field along with the applicant’s contact info is being populated via a workflow, triggered by survey response. I have the directory connected to the dashboard as a second data source and I have published and mapped the Hiring Status field as well as relevant contact info fields- Recipient Last Name, etc. I want to apply a filter to the entire dashboard using the Hiring Status directory field. However, when I use the Hiring Status field to create a dashboard filter, all the survey response data in the record table widget disappears and it says my filters are too exclusive. Is there something I’m missing, or is it not possible to filter a dashboard based on directory fields?
Filter a dashboard based on a published directory field

I think in your situation you need to use the data modeler instead of the data mapper and create a joint dataset.
