How can you remove user access, without deleting the user?

For context, as a Brand Admin I invite specific users from my org to dashboards just for temporary test phases, and remove their access after the test phase.

The problem: I realise now, when I forget to do this, the testers have more access than they should. When I want to remove their access temporarily, Qualtrics says I need to select at least one survey, or I can delete them. In this tradeoff, test users have either more access or I need to re-create their credentials for every test. 

 

My question: Is there any way to fully remove access for specific users temporarily, without deleting them entirely?

You could disable/enable the account from the user admin tab:

Hello ​@ebsosna,

If you have created the dashboard and shared it with them then you can remove it by clicking on the ‘X’ icon without deleting their account. Below screenshot for your refrence:

 

If you want to fully remove their access to account without deleting then you will have to Disable them.
