Modifying bar thickness in a bar chart? | XM Community
Skip to main content

I am trying to increase the height of a bars in a bar chart, this should be a very simple edit option but cannot find it.

@Tameri No, you can’t change it, it will automatically resize base on the size of your widget

I have seen such Qualtrics chart report and not sure this made by java script, especially the spacing, bar thickness
and using “n=” for response counts. I am new to Qualtrics, so sorry :-)

@Tameri Don’t be sorry :(
Can you let me know where did you get this chart report? This doesn’t feels like typical Qualtrics Dashboard/Report Chart

Thanks for your immediate support. all I am getting is this kind of spacing between bars which is too big.

However I saw even on Qualtrics website here for example much better spacing https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/reports-module/reports-section/inserting-report-content/

@Tameri You have only 5 options, they have 7 that squeezed in to a small space. If you reduce the height of the widget, the space will be gone

Also, change the axis font size will also change the width of bar

Thanks Nam, I made the changes as recommended and here the result

I cannot get any closer to the one above, which looks way better visualization I guess
