REMOVING EXTRA ROW IN A SIDE BY SIDE QUESTION (MATRIX)

Can anyone recommend how to remove an extra row in a side by side matrix question? See red arrow below. Your help is always appreciated.

Click on "Candidate 1" to edit, then clear all text(i.e. Candidate 1) and then press enter. Make sure you don't have any previously recorded user responses in this survey otherwise it might affect the reporting data. Hope this helps.
