Report overall NPS as average of brand-level NPSs? (Dashboard)

I have a dashboard showing survey responses from multiple brands my organization manages. It’s easy to report on NPS per brand in various ways (break out a bar chart by brand, filter different widgets to have one widget per brand, etc.). But is there a way to report on an overall NPS that is an average of the brand-level NPS values? Because each brand will have different quantities of responses, this value would not be the same as the simple whole-dataset NPS value.

I made some attempts using custom metrics but didn’t get anywhere. Any recommendations?

Update: I was able to do this for a pre-defined static set of brands by building a custom metric to the equivalent of: (NPS A + NPS B + NPS C) / 3. That works for a static set of brands.

But is there a way to get a similar output when the quantity of brands being included is dynamic? In effect, the logic would be: calculate NPS for each value in the field “brand,” then divide that by the count of the number of values in “brand” field. I can’t find a way to do that. I can kind of get there by making a table showing NPS as the metric, segmented by brand, and with an average row at the bottom. That yields the right value but is limited in its visualization potential.

Any thoughts?
