Our team uses multiple custom metrics to help us determine quarterly and yearly changes across different attributes. However, we came across an issue where on the dashboard, we set our threshold counts so the results are hidden if it does not meet the threshold but the custom metric shows. Is there any way to place threshold counts on the actual custom metrics rather than just on the dashboard or widget?

Think, you have threshold filter at page level. Try having it at widget level.

Hi there! 👋

I took a look at this, and currently, it isn't possible to place response count thresholds directly on custom metrics themselves within Qualtrics dashboards. Right now, threshold counts can only be applied at the dashboard page level or on individual widgets. Basically, custom metrics don't support filtering by their own calculated values because that would require a "double aggregation"—calculating the metric first and then filtering by it—which the platform doesn't support yet.

That said, there is a partial workaround you can try: look into the Display Threshold setting within your widget grouping settings. It acts as a form of post-filtering to hide values, though it isn't an actual filter based on the custom metric threshold. If you need really granular filtering based on those calculations, you'll likely need to incorporate those calculations as attributes before loading the data into the dashboard.
