We have several translations of the Evaluator Invite. How does the system know which language to send to the external evaluators?

In my experience, if subjects nominate their own external evaluators who are not yet in the system, the invites could not detect any language to translate to because there is no way for the subjects to denote the language of their external evaluators. Is there a new feature to do this?
