Dashboard: Avoid shortening question wording in e.g. question list widget
Hi,
I’ve set up several Dashboards and in all of them in e.g. the question list widget the question wordings will automatically shorted with “...” at the end. Is there a possibility to get rid of that automatism?
There must be a solution because today I saw a dashboard, where even wordings in multiple lines (5 lines!) where completely displayed.
Thx

Hello @Space - the final frontier,
Only thing we can do is increase the size of widget to make the question visible. Instead of this you can try with adding Description. They can click on ‘I’ icon to see the full question text.
Thx for the reply but width seems not to be the problem. The widgets got the full screen width and even on a 4k screen with 100% i get something like this:
Try to delete and reinsert the widget. Bug issues mostly.
Hi @Space - the final frontier To resolve this , please follow these steps:
Go to the Dashboard Settings and open the Dashboard Data page.
Look for questions with long text that end with "....".
For each of these questions, copy the full question text and paste it into the white box where the field name is displayed
I also encountered it recently, very annoying!
A way to fix it is to go into Dashboard Settings > Dashboard Data as @DikshaKotian1103 has said.
However.. I suspect that, like myself, @Space - the final frontier is trying to figure out how to STOP it happening at all.. because it’s irritating having to go through Dashboard Data for every single dashboard build that has long questions and having to fix these labels one by one.
Has anyone figured out a way to stop this shortening happening at all? 😅
Thanks to @dishakohli (Will check this out, seems to be a good workaround) and
@bench (yeah, you’re right. A “magic button” would be better) :-)
