Hi folks,

what is your experience to have the best performance in dashboards?
My experience/suggestions so far what would affect performance:
Amount of data per widgets needed to be loaded → high impact

Amount of widgets on a page → high impact

Amount of delegates → high impact for hierachy filter

Amount of pages in a dashboard → (very) low impact

So conclusion would be to have less widgets per page but more pages. One common dashboards  with a lot of pages or different dashboards with less pages doesn’t matter.

Would you agree or do you made other experiences?

Thanks!

Hello, Space - the final frontier (love it)

You're right on the money with your approach! Keeping things lean by spreading widgets across more pages rather than cramming them onto one is definitely the best way to keep performance snappy. 🚀 Engineering and support data show that once you go past 20-30 widgets on a single page, things can start to feel a bit sluggish, even if the "hard limit" is technically higher.

The number of pages itself doesn't actually weigh the dashboard down much, so feel free to split things up to keep the data processing manageable for each view. Other big factors to watch out for are complex custom metrics and heavy use of hierarchy filters, which can really add to the computational load. Limiting yourself to about 10 pages per dashboard is a good rule of thumb to keep things organized and quick. If you find that these adjustments don't quite get the speed where you want it, or if you suspect there's a deeper technical snag with your specific data mapping, it’s a good idea to head over to the Customer Success Hub.
