In my Employee engagement project,  I have to share the survey data and analysis tab with my colleague , but I want to hide Name, email, uniqueidentfier from the collaborator data view. How can this be done in EX platform for EE project?

I was told by support it is possible by Pseudonymization but it will make these fields hidden for all surveys in your license under EX. so not a good idea.

Hello, PeeyushBansal

That's a great question about balancing collaboration with data privacy! When you're looking to share an Employee Engagement project without exposing sensitive fields like Name or Email, your best bet is to leverage Roles within the Participants tab.

The most secure way to handle this is to give your colleague access to the Dashboard while keeping the Data & Analysis tab restricted. In the Role settings, you'll want to ensure "View Survey Results" is unchecked. If they absolutely need access to the data model, you can mark specific fields as "Sensitive" in your data privacy settings to mask them. However, since core identifiers like Unique ID can be tricky to hide completely in raw data views, sticking to Dashboard-only access is usually the gold standard for privacy. Just assign them a role that has dashboard viewing permissions enabled but keeps the raw backend data off-limits.

If you're having trouble getting those specific columns to stay hidden or if the permissions aren't applying quite right to your collaborator's view, it might be worth having the folks at the Customer Success Hub take a look at your role configuration. They can help ensure your data model is airtight before you share it out: https://support-portal.qualtrics.com/ 🔐
