How do you recommend to manage the EX platform in a multinational / big company?

Hi, I work at a multinational company, with many Business Units. I would like to know the experience of other users in this topic. How do you manage the access to the platform and particularly the Employee Directory?Our employee voice strategy includes that some of the Surveys are directly managed by a local business unit. They should use the data of employees that are in the directory, but they should not access data of other Business Units' employees. Also, they should not modify data by mistake. Is there anyone with experience on this respect? If not, How would you do it?
