How to deal with employees with no email address?

Hi, 

 

we are preparing a large scale employee experience survey - however there is a big branch of employees that has no email address in the database. They are factory workers and do not use any PC equipment at work. 

We are facing 2 challenges now: 
a) how do we even get them in the directory beforehand? Qualtrics does not allow an upload when email is empty? 

  1. how do we send the surveys to them? Creating individual links and giving them out seems bothersome.. but there is no individual QR code generator, right? 

 

Thanks for the help, maybe somebody dealt with something similar.

@ManuF You can still send out invite by SMS but you have to contact your account manager to enable that and I think it’s only available in some particular region.

I don’t believe there’s an individual/personalized QR code generator. If you put a single inbox for all contacts that don’t have an email address on file in your spreadsheet, you could upload the list into Qualtrics and get personalized links for even the people without emails on file. For example, you could put abcd@_____.com for each missing email contact.

You can create dummy email address like abc1@xyz.com, abc2@xyz.com etc. and then you can apply authenticator in your survey flow and validate it with employee number or phone number etc. Then you can send survey via text message on their phone number.

You can then use a QR code and have them enter in whichever option you chose to authenticate.

You can generate an anonymous link → Setup an authenticator based on employee id or any unique id(This will ensure that the person who uses the link is associated with the person in the participant list) → Generate a QR code from any free website available and share it with the employees either via printing it or any other means of communication
