Pulse Survey Scores Trend Lower | XM Community

Hi everyone,

Curious how your company’s Pulse Survey scores compare to your annual survey scores? Do Pulse survey statements tend to score higher or lower on average in your experience and why?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Hi Ash,

As an EX Consultant who has worked with various clients from various different sectors, I can say that the uptrend or the downtrend really depends on factors like company size, Industry. The usual trend is the first pulse survey after the annual engagement survey doesn't see a huge swing in numbers as the company is still trying to make sense of the data they have gathered from the previous survey and working on planning their actions for the weaker areas.

If the company has scored well in the Annual Engagement survey, they won’t see much change for multiple pulse surveys as they focus on maintaining the score, for the companies who haven’t scored great, they will see an uptrend given that they have worked on the ground level on the feedback they received in the engagement survey.

@gharatsarvesh9 Thank you so much for the insight!
