Updating/Deleting contacts in EX Directory after certain time

Has anyone managed to delete/update contacts in the EX Directory based on certain conditions?
My requirement is to update a metadata field of a contact if his TerminationDate is 6 months before today’s date but any similar logic would help. 

The process has to be automated, it wont be a one-time thing.

    You could look at setting up a workflow that runs everyday, pulls contacts that fulfil the criteria and update them.

      Yes, I am having trouble pulling the contacts that fulfill it. I tried using this api.qualtrics.com/3b8e88939c3a7-get-results-for-directory-export-participants-job and the two API requests before that one, and I get some result but it looks like a csv file that I cannot further use.

      Yes, I used Workflows that have a task WebService to execute the API requests I mentioned.

      we have the same challenge and would like Qualtrics to work on a better way to improve data retention and deletion of personal data.
