What is Getting Started Mondays?

Every Monday we will highlight a Core XM feature, and the post will include a description of the chosen topic, a support page, and related community content. The goal of this weekly series is to help users find support pages or community posts that relate to the topic. Remember to always contact Qualtrics Support for product-related issues or urgent questions.

Topic: Translating Comments

Adding different translations to your survey makes the survey more accessible and allows respondents to have better-personalized experiences. Once the data is collected, we need to be able to analyze the feedback given in different languages.

The translate comments feature allows us to select text entry fields in the Data & Analysis tab, like Embedded Data and Text Entry questions, to be translated as soon as they're recorded.

While TextiQ uses Google Translate by default, you can discuss adding a custom translation or changing your translation service with your Qualtrics representative.

Start analyzing a larger set of open feedback today by learning how to translate comments in your survey!

Where to find this feature:

  1. Go to your Survey Project.
  2. Go to the Data & Analysis Tab.
  3. Click Tools.
  4. Select Translate Comments.
  5. Navigate to Select Field and select a variable to translate.
