Connecting Q-Classroom Course Evaluation Results to Other Survey Results/Data Sets

Hello,
We are a small prive healthcare college currently implementing Q-Classroom. Last year we had purchased the CoreXM surveying tool to replace Survey Monkey in our Institutional Effectiveness Office. Our ultimate goal is to create reports and dashboards that identify data correlations, trends, etc.
It is my understanding that in order to get the course evaluations to tie back to other survey results or data imports that I would need all the surveys option of anonymize responses to NOT be enabled. Anyone currently do this? I would love to share experiences with how to create this environment. Did you experience push back for not anoymizing the student surveys? The only person with access/capabilities to actual results in Qualtrics would be myself the brand administrator. All reports and dashboards would be confidential and be summarized.
