Hi Everyone,
During our course and faculty evaluation implementation, the Qualtrics implementation team set up that our Instructor dashboard would be available for faculty to view based on a dashboard release date (15 days after the end of our semester). This is set in our data transfer from our SIS to the Qualtrics SFTP server. I looked in our SIS and that date was supposed to be December 27, 2025.
It is not working now for the fall 2025 evaluations.
I chatted with someone from Qualtrics in the chat box, but they said a workflow was depreciated in the Course and Faculty evaluation project and I needed to set up a new Workflow in Directories. They gave me some instructions but I am not seeing Step 2 at all.
Wondering if someone from this group can point me in the right direction so Faculty can see their fall 2025 evaluations. Here is what the person told me to do. Step 2 is not an option for me to see.
1. Start a New Workflow in XM Directory Go to your XM Directory. Navigate to the Workflows tab. Click Create Workflow. 2. Choose the Contact Import Automation Select the option to automatically pull contacts from another service. Choose SFTP as your data source. For more details, see: XM Directory Workflows - Contact Import
3. Connect Your SFTP Account Click to Add Account (as a Brand Administrator or individual user). Enter the following SFTP details: Hostname (e.g., sftp.example.com) Port (usually 22) Authentication method (Password, SSH Key, or Encrypted SSH Key) Username and Password (or SSH Key details) Click Connect Account. For full instructions, see: Extract Data from SFTP Files Task - Connecting an SFTP Account
4. Configure the Extract Data from SFTP Files Task In the workflow, add the Extract Data from SFTP Files task. Select your connected SFTP account. Specify the directory path and file details for the import. Ensure your SFTP account has read, write, and delete permissions. For more details, see: Extract Data from SFTP Files Task
5. Map Data to XM Directory Add a Load Data to XM Directory task to the workflow. Map the fields from your SFTP file to the appropriate fields in XM Directory. For more details, see: Load B2B Account Data into XM Directory Task
6. Set the Workflow Schedule Choose how often you want the workflow to run (e.g., daily, weekly). Save and enable the workflow.
7. Test the Connection and Workflow Use the Test Connection button to verify SFTP connectivity. Optionally, run the workflow immediately to confirm data import.
