We are back with our next customer spotlight with VirginiaM ! 🤩
Q: Tell us about your current role:
A: In my current role I build enrollment management dashboards that explore data associated with admissions, enrollment, and retention. I also showcase survey data in dashboards related to student success and their college experiences.
Q: Tell us about one project that you have run on Qualtrics that has been particularly impactful: 
A: Every year I use Qualtrics to send out a registration form for Analytics Day (a one-day mini-conference that we host each June). When we pivoted to a virtual event in 2020, the number of attendees went from 100 to 900! Qualtrics made it easy for us to send the registration form via email (for previous attendees), post the link on our website, send the link out via listserv, and share the link over social media and Slack. When registration was over, Qualtrics made it easy to pull our list of attendees and send them the meeting link and details. I still use the basic registration survey each year, with additional tweaks to make it even better.
Analytics_Day_Registration___2021.qsfQ: What would you like to learn from others in the Community?
A: Qualtrics is always evolving and improving, so I look for ways to make my work and surveys even more efficient. I would also like to learn simple JavaScript that I could incorporate in my surveys.
Q: If time and money were endless, what would be your dream experience?
A: It's been my dream since college to get a one-month train pass to go anywhere in the US and Canada. I would travel through DC and Chicago, across into Canada, west to Seattle, and then down the pacific coast to southern California. Then I would return to NC via the southwest. Along the way I'd like to stop and spend time in those cities that I've never visited before, stay at luxurious hotels, and eat amazing food. I'd like meet up with friends who live along the route and see their little corner of the world. I'd like to put my feet in the Pacific Ocean and take enough photographs to fill several albums. I'd like to hear local bands play at outdoor venues and maybe even attend a local festival or two. This wouldn't get me to my goal of visiting all 50 states, but it would certainly mark a few off the list!
Q: Do you have any additional or fun information you'd like to share as it relates to your experience with Qualtrics?
A: At my previous job I launched course evaluations in Qualtrics (back in 2016 before there was a process/product in place for that). It took nearly a year and a lot of help from some amazing Qualtrics employees, but it worked, and is still in use today!
