Qualtrics to SPSS

Hello,
I hope you are staying well. When exporting Qualtrics data to SPSS the scoring range changed from 0-3, to 1-4. How can I ensure the scoring is consistent in both platforms?
Thank you.

Typically, default choice recodes are 1-X unless you have edited/removed choices. I assumed you were referring to choice labels 0-3 as 'scores'. If you are actually using Scoring, scores usually don't apply to a single question and are downloaded in SPSS as separate fields...one field for each scoring category.

If the choice labels are 0-3, recode the choices to 0-3. By default the recodes would be 1-4 which is what is exported to SPSS.

Thank you for the quick reply TomG.
So I understand what you wrote, that regardless of the scores I enter for each question, the SPSS export is the default 1-4 unless I recode the choices.

MaryKay22_ Have you checked the coding in your survey? Go to the question, click the gear icon, and select "Recode Values" to see what the values are set as.
