How to use API to set up recurring email and SMS reminders? | XM Community

Hi everyone, I'm completely new to API and programming in general. For our survey, we want participants to take it via an anonymous link twice a day for a month, so we want to set up an automatic email and SMS reminders for them to take the survey. I know that can be accomplished using API, but I have no idea how to get started. Thank you so much for your help!

That's a very good idea. One thing to note, Qualtrics will deprecate all V2 APIs in November. So better to do in V3 API. Not sure if you have already went through the support page for V3 API. I would recommend to go through the support page first and let us/me know where you are getting issue. We can try to help accordingly.

Thanks for the tip! However I'm still unclear about how to approach it. Is there a template or tutorial sort of thing I could follow along?

In the example code, it seems like they use strftime to specify the time to send the email, I was wondering if there's a way to set it in a way that it does it twice everyday for a month? Thanks so much for your help
