I am trying to use the transactionbatches API call, For that call you need a directoryId. Can this be obtained using an API call.

The directory ID, also known as a pool ID, is only accessible by a Brand Admin. If there is an administrator for your system, you would need to ask them. Here is info on how to get your Pool ID!https://api.qualtrics.com/docs/finding-qualtrics-ids

As @Michael_Campbell_RedPepper said it is the same as Pool ID. If you have access to it, you would find it under Contacts (i.e. Target Audience)/Top Right Drop-down/Account Settings/Qualtrics IDs.
