Is there a concern with adding a new question in active survey?

Not really - deleting or changing existing questions would be my only concern.

Concern in what way? New questions can be added after launch; just make sure to publish the survey again so they appear in the live version.

Hey, folx!
I'm joining in with a related question. I have a survey that's being tested internally right now that will be active soon. In the future, I'll need to add response options to some of the multiple-choice questions. I know from this article (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/testing-and-editing-an-active-survey/) that I can add response options at the bottom of a list. But in some cases, my responses are alphabetized. The help article seems to imply that response options can be reordered in a live survey by moving them up/down. But it's not clear if I can do this with new response options. If I add in new choices at the end, can I then move them up/down without messing with already submitted data?
Thanks for any insight anyone has!

https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/comment/47316#Comment_47316Yes, if you add new choices to the end, then you can move them up to the appropriate position.
