Autoadvance is not getting the job done

I am trying to create a survey where participants have time limitations on their responses. This seems to be working using timers. I would also like participants to advance to the next question on the next page immediately after answering each question if they answer before their allotted time expires. Auto advance does not accomplish this, in fact in my survey the auto-advance “Done” button does not do anything.

@jkesan The auto advance for the timer question only forwards to the next page once the time is over. As I understood, you want to move them if they answer earlier than that. 

I think you could achieve this with the auto advance setting in the “Look & Feel” > “Motion” section: 

If this does still not help you, then some more input about the questions used would be good. Maybe some JavaScript is required.

The problem I had with the auto advance settings already in Qualtrics was that they would advance to the next question on a page but would not advance from one page to the next page before the timer ran out. In the forum linked below the author provides a snippet of javascript that moves to the next page after the participant selects an answer, this works well enough for my purposes.
