Hi All,

I am new to Qualtrics. I am trying to implement random block randomization - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3136079/#:~:text=participants%20among%20groups.-,Block%20randomization,size%20across%20groups%20over%20time. in Qualtrics survey site. For example, Block of 4 for the first 4 respondents, then block of 5 for the next 5 respondents.and so on. Is it possible to tie a subject to a specific treatment A or B in qualtrics survey ?

Thank you

Hi,

Please don’t get confused with blocks in qualtrics with the blocks in random block randomization. Let me explain with an example.

For example, I have 100 subjects for my survey and I would like to divide my subjects into set of 4, 6 and 8 and so on.  Set 1 with 4 respondents will be assigned  survey A and survey B equally. 1st respondent from Set 1 is assigned survey A, 2nd respondent is assigned survey B, 3rd respondent is assigned survey A and 4th respondent is assigned survey B. Similarly, Set 2 need to be assigned for 6 respondents. Then next 5 respondents  will be assigned survey A and Survey B.

Is the above requirement is possible in Qualtrics survey ?
